Our Story

Jim Belew, the first member of the Belew and Connolly Team, joined the industry in 1994 and has worked tirelessly since to build his business into what it is today. On day one, he started working with Brad Beasley, who has provided incredible insights and advice as the Investment Consultant. Shortly after, Jim hired the first, and now retired, support staff member, Jan Hudson. Together, they forged a strong partnership that led to the official formation of the team in 2008 when Adam Connolly joined. Capabilities increased with the complexity of modern wealth management, which led to the addition of Brandon Brown in 2015, followed by Trey Belew, Maddie Street, Laine Thomas, and most recently, Carter Belew. The Belew and Connolly team is consistently looking to grow as they find new ways to provide the best service for their clients.

Our mission is to provide an intentional approach to financial planning that helps clients articulate their goals by aligning those with a range of customized solutions. We collaborate in a faith-based environment that allows us to build relationships with integrity and excellence. By leveraging each team member’s skills and experience, we provide a personalized service that can help positively impact our community for multiple generations.

In any situation, our team is focused on listening to our clients and their best interest. We focus on corporate benefits such as 401k and profit-sharing plans, in addition to developing and managing financial plans with individuals and families as their needs evolve. We are proud of the full capability of services we can offer at Morgan Stanley and welcome the opportunity to collaborate with clients’ existing professional relationships to achieve what matters to them most.

Disclosure:
Alternative investments often are speculative and include a high degree of risk. Investors could lose all or a substantial amount of their investment. Alternative investments are appropriate only for eligible, long-term investors who are willing to forgo liquidity and put capital at risk for an indefinite period of time. They may be highly illiquid and can engage in leverage and other speculative practices that may increase the volatility and risk of loss. Alternative Investments typically have higher fees than traditional investments. Investors should carefully review and consider potential risks before investing.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Actual results may vary. Diversification does not assure a profit or protect against loss in a declining market.

8Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan.
