Meet The Behnke-Ashmore Group

About Sallie Behnke

Sallie Behnke is an Executive Director, Financial Advisor and Family Wealth Director at Morgan Stanley. Sallie has been a financial advisor since 2000 and works with large families to manage their wealth and the complexities that go with it.

She is currently a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned her Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation after attending the course of study at the Wharton School of Business. Sallie was named one of Forbes’ Best in State Wealth Advisors for 2018-2024, as well as 2019-2024 Forbes List of Top Women Wealth Advisors. Sallie was also named to Working Mother Magazine’s 2017-2021 Top Wealth Advisor Moms. She sits on the Board of Texas Wall Street Women (TXWSW), and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).

Prior to her career at Morgan Stanley, Sallie was an advisor at Merrill Lynch as well as a tax consultant at Ernst & Young in its Personal Financial Counseling Group, where she counseled clients on personal financial matters relating to investment asset allocation, executive compensation, and trust and estate planning.

Sallie received her BS in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Masters degree in Accountancy from the University of Missouri School of Business.

Sallie and her husband Jared currently reside in the Park Cities in Dallas. Sallie and Jared are active travelers and enjoy spending time with their sons, Will and Wynn. She is very involved in supporting and raising funds for Type 1 Diabetes Research. She was recognized in 2015 and 2016 as an Ambassador Club member as one of the top fundraisers for the Red Balloon Run & Ride, benefiting Children’s Hospital.

About Christine Ashmore

For more than 16 years, Christine Ashmore has been helping manage the wealth and complexities of large families. She currently serves as Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley

Initially, Christine began her career in Transaction and Valuations Services at KPMG in 1996. Later, she was an advisor at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Tolleson Wealth Management, and Annandale Capital.

Christine received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas and her Master of Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Southern Methodist University.

Community service is important to Christine and she is active within her community. Currently she sits on the board of The Kraddick Foundation, more commonly known as Kidd’s Kids. Previously she was a board member for Parish Episcopal School and Parish Episcopal School Endowment. During her time there, she also chaired the Trusteeship Committee for Parish Episcopal School and was a member of their Budget and Finance Committee. Additionally, she was a Vestry member at Saint Michael and All Angels Church.

Christine and her husband, Andrew, reside in the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas along with their two sons, Jack and Drew. As an avid runner, Christine enjoys hitting the trail every chance she gets.

About Connor Fleming

Connor M. Fleming is a Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Connor is series 7, 63, & 66 licensed and is currently working toward his MBA at Southern Methodist University (SMU).

Prior to working at Morgan Stanley, Connor worked as an Associate Service Professional at Charles Schwab in Denver. His role included working with Clients and Advisors in a supportive function to help operationalize their financial goals.

Connor grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended Westminster Christian Academy in Town & Country. Connor received his B.A. in Finance from Benedictine College, in Kansas, where he also was a Scholar Athlete. He served as captain of his team and helped take Benedictine to the National Tournament in 3 of his 4 years. Connor has devoted time to various community and faith based organizations including: Food Bank of the Rockies, Boys & Girls Club, and a trip to support a mission in Haiti.

Connor enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and biking. He recently moved from Denver to Dallas and is now a member of the Young Professionals Club Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). He has developed deep relationships within the Dallas business and sports community.

Megan Wangler is an industry veteran whose Morgan Stanley career began in 2006 in Chicago, IL. Megan has built a successful career due to her strong focus on detail, excellent communication skills, and dedication to her team and clients. Since joining the Behnke Ashmore Group in 2019, she has helped develop and implement procedures to best meet the logistical and administrative needs of her team and their clients. Megan is a team player, always willing to jump into any situation to improve efficiency or find the most effective solution to any problem. She works tirelessly to keep the wheels of the practice moving smoothly every day for the ultimate benefit of the group’s clients.

Megan is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology. She has successfully completed the Series 7, 63, and 66 examinations since beginning her career.

Megan is a proud mother to her children, Ally and Ben. She and her husband, Ryan, spend much of their free time cheering on their kids at their many sporting events.

Stacy grew up in Muncie, IN, and before moving to Texas in 2010, she lived in Michigan. She previously worked for Fidelity Investments for ten years, where she focused largely on client support and satisfaction, and provided service level guidance. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Stacy lives in Grand Prairie, TX with her husband, Lovell. They have two children and one grandson who keep them busy. When she’s not busy, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. They love sports, and their son plays professional basketball overseas.
