About Doug Quintero
As a First Vice President and Financial Advisor, Doug Quintero helps his high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients simplify the financial complexities in their lives so they can spend more time running their companies, raising their families and pursuing their philanthropic ambitions. Doug works with families, corporate executives and serial entrepreneurs. He places a high premium on delivering quality service while implementing strategies that align with his clients’ financial goals. To this end, he helps his clients build diversified portfolios and, when suitable, incorporating alternative investments, such as hedge funds, private equity, and private real estate to differentiate returns from traditional markets. Doug also addresses complex stock issues such as concentrated and restricted stock management, stock option analysis, tax minimization and hedging strategies.
He began his financial services career as an Analyst for Smith Barney in Orange County, California. A few years later he moved to San Francisco to work with one of the leading wealth management teams on the West Coast. In this role, Doug was responsible for investment research and advice, with a particular focus on alternative investments. After several years at Merrill Lynch and the Private Banking and Investment Group, he joined Morgan Stanley to focus on serving the needs of a select group of families and individuals.
Doug earned his B.A. in Political Science/Business from the University of Southern California, where he was a Trustee Scholar.
He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and daughter.
