About Mark Sanchez
Mark R. Sanchez is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Management Director with over three decades of experience in the financial sector. Since beginning his career in 1987, he has been at the helm of the 8 Bridges Bay Area Group, focusing on discretionary portfolio management. Mark serves a diverse clientele, including individuals, families, corporations, and nonprofit organizations, offering a comprehensive suite of services such as trading, advisory, and the design and management of tailored active investment strategies.
His approach is firmly rooted in Modern Portfolio Theory and Fundamental Analysis, with a keen awareness of prevailing economic and market dynamics. Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from San Jose State University, equipping him with a solid foundation for his expertise in investment management.

David Bail joined Morgan Stanley in 1989, when he began working as an intern in the mail room. Hired as a Financial Advisor in 1991, David become a Senior Vice President in 2000, Portfolio Manager in 2009 and has been a Portfolio Management Director since 2015. His process focuses on a pragmatic approach to macroeconomics, fundamental research and technical analysis encompassed within the application of modern portfolio management theory.
Throughout his career, David has worked with many partners, clients, good friends, teachers, confidants and mentors. They have taught and inspired him thru these collaborations. He is always charismatic and enthusiastic about working with his clients and new people. In 2019, David became a mentor and coach to new advisors in Oakland at Morgan Stanley.
In his personal life, David values family, friendship, and community. He cherishes his two sons, daughter and spouse. His philanthropic endeavors have been a large part of who he is and what the Bail family represents. David is a lifelong youth sports advocate and coach. Having coached and managed 33 baseball and football seasons combined since he was 17. He is a founding member of numerous youth sport organizations. He is a former member of the Bishop O’Dowd High School Board of Regents where he served as chairman of the finance committee for over 6 years. David also is a volunteer speaker for career development at local high schools and is a volunteer for organizations such as Project Aware and the Alameda County Community Food Bank.
Born and raised in Alameda, in 1987, he graduated from Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, CA. In 1991, he graduated from University of Southern California with a B.S. in Investment Finance. David Bail has been a positive impact in Alameda County and the greater world at large through his charismatic nature, educational background, personal life balance, and ample work experience. Hel is constantly starting new projects and has an oceanic view on life with a willingness to help anyone he crosses paths with. He recently founded a nonprofit which has combined his love for LEGO toys and his philanthropy.

Tim Sanchez is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor and Investment Management Consultant for the 8 Bridges Bay Area Group at Morgan Stanley. In this capacity, he is responsible for co-managing the financial, investment, and estate planning strategy needs for high net worth individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations. Tim concentrates on portfolio management, alternative investments, and investment manager review and selection. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Mary’s College of California in Business Management. Tim joined Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms in 2001 to help form the Sanchez Group. In the twelve years previous to his employment at Morgan Stanley, Tim served as the Regional Branch Manager for Transworld Systems, Inc. a subsidiary of OSI, Inc. Tim resides in Concord with his wife Amy and three children.

Egan Brown is a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager who focuses on goals-based planning. He has been with Morgan Stanley since 2017 and has been recognized as a member of the Pacesetters Club from 2019 through 2024.

Julie brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to the team. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, she spent eight years with Oppenheimer in client services, fostering strong client relationships while assisting one of the top producers. She has also managed customer service groups at both the Pacific Options Exchange and in the Chairman’s Division at Charles Schwab. Julie spent time as an equity trader at William Blair and as a financial analyst in Global Finance at Goldman Sachs. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa and holds both the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Julie grew up in the Chicago area, and besides the Bay Area, has lived in Dallas, New York and Phoenix. She loves to travel and is an avid movie buff.
