About Robert Bachelder
Bob’s experience spans a 30+ year career in the financial industry working with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. He spent 15 years at Bank of Boston where he was a Senior Vice President in a variety of positions in corporate lending, international and investment banking. After four years at Kidder Peabody, Bob joined Morgan Stanley in 1998. Bob has been ranked among the country’s top 1,000 financial advisors by Barron’s from 2009 to 2012. Since 2001, Bob has been a member of the Chairman’s Club or President’s Club, Morgan Stanley’s highest designations reserved for the firm’s leading and most accomplished Financial Advisors. On the team, Bob focuses on equities and asset allocation and serves as the team’s senior portfolio strategist. Bob graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bowdoin College with Phi Beta Kappa honors and a double major in Government & Legal Studies and History. Bob is involved with several charitable institutions and currently serves on the Board of the Cape Ann Museum in Gloucester. Bob’s interests includes supporting the arts, along with golfing, skiing and racquet sports. Bob resides in Wenham, Massachusetts with his wife Hope and his dog Maisy and has three grown children.
