About Me
Philosophy & Approach
To me, money is more than numbers on a page or performance reports—it’s a tool, like a hammer. It can help you build the life and legacy you dream of, or, if misused, it can cause everything to come crashing down.
My focus is on understanding you—your family, your story, your values, and your fears—because those are the things that truly matter and aren’t reflected in charts or numbers.
My approach is rooted in a three-step discovery process. Together, we’ll uncover your goals, dreams, challenges, and expectations, ultimately crafting a personalized financial plan. From there, my team and I design a comprehensive financial plan that aligns with your mission. This includes a tailored investment and tax strategy built around your unique needs.
Background & Education
Born in Long Beach, California, I initially pursued the sciences at California State University, Long Beach, before earning my Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2012. As a trailblazer for young Latina women in finance, I began my career in 2006 at Citi Corp Investment Services, rising to the role of Financial Advisor during the 2008 recession.
I later joined Wells Fargo Advisors, where I served as a Senior Financial Advisor for over a decade, working with families and businesses. In 2024, I transitioned to Morgan Stanley, where I continue to focus on wealth preservation, retirement income strategies, and tax-efficient financial planning.
My financial journey wasn’t paved with big wins or endless resources, but I’ve always valued education and, more importantly, applying what I’ve learned. That’s why I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, This designation helps me to navigate complex financial scenarios for ultra-high-net-worth clients while upholding the highest professional standards.
I focus on working with women and individuals experiencing significant life transitions, including business changes, estate settlements, job transitions, retirement, and financial windfalls.
As a first-generation Mexican American, I’m fluent in Spanish and deeply passionate about serving the Hispanic community. Our community is severely underrepresented by CFP® professionals, and I’m committed to changing that.
Outside the Office
I’m a proud mom and wife, married to my high school sweetheart for over 10 years. Together, we’re raising our two wonderful children, Gabriel (8) and Ellie (5), with faith and family as our guiding values.
On weekends, you’ll find me hiking, grilling, or enjoying quality time with loved ones. On Sundays, I volunteer as a group leader in Hillsides Church’s children’s ministry, where I find purpose and joy teaching kids about the Word of God.

12Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice.
