About Christopher Apgar
Christopher L. Apgar comes to Morgan Stanley having been on Wall Street since 1999. As an Executive Director he focuses on the particular needs of high net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations and nonprofit organizations, including retirement planning, wealth transfer, estate planning strategies and writing investment policies. Enthusiastic about the visual arts, Christopher also dedicates a significant portion of his practice to the distinctive considerations of dealers, artists, galleries and others in the art community.
Currently, Chris is the honorary co-chair of the Contemporary Arts Council at MoMA, and vice chair of The Camargo Foundation in the South of France, he served as the treasurer of Artists Space, treasurer of Judd Foundation, co-chair of the Contemporary Arts Council of MoMA, ex-officio trustee of the Museum of Modern Art, and President of The Brooklyn Rail, a magazine of critical perspectives on arts, politics and culture.
Christopher graduated with honors from Rutgers university, and continued his education studying finance at the New York Finance Institute.
He divides his time between residences in Park City, Utah and Manhattan, NY
