About Christopher Apgar
Christopher L. Apgar comes to Morgan Stanley having been on Wall Street since 1999. Enthusiastic about the visual arts, Christopher dedicates a significant portion of his practice to the distinctive considerations of dealers, artists, galleries and others in the art community. Currently, Chris is the honorary co-chair of the Contemporary Arts Council at MoMA, and vice chair of The Camargo Foundation in the South of France. He served as the treasurer of Artists Space, treasurer of Judd Foundation, co-chair of the Contemporary Arts Council of MoMA, ex-officio trustee of the Museum of Modern Art, and President of The Brooklyn Rail, a magazine of critical perspectives on arts, politics and culture. He has also been named a 2025 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor for Utah.
Christopher graduated with honors from Rutgers university, and continued his education studying finance at the New York Finance Institute.
He divides his time between residences in Park City, Utah and Manhattan, NY
