About Henry J. Bernacki, III

Henry J. Bernacki, III (Hank) is a Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Wealth Advisor with The Allegheny Group at Morgan Stanley. With over 20 years of experience, Hank brings a unique perspective to the group by utilizing a lifetime of acquired skills to help clients save for the future and protect what’s most important to them. Hank assists clients in all areas of the financial planning process from generating portfolio strategies to asset implementation and supervision. Hank's disciplined approach to portfolio monitoring and communication enables clients to not just stay up-to-date but remain involved in their success.

A graduate of Duquesne University, Hank earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance and minoring in Accounting. Hank makes every effort to improve his ability to serve his clients which is why one year after joining Morgan Stanley in 2001, he earned his Wealth Advisor designation and in 2007 his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification. Hank extends this ideal of amelioration to his clients by ensuring that their financial plans genuinely encompass their individual aspirations.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2011, John had the privilege of working for three Fortune 500 bio-pharmaceutical companies: Sanofi, Wyeth, and Thermo Fisher Scientific, where John received several national sales awards while operating within business development and sales.

About Patricia L. Rogus

Patricia Rogus is a First Vice President, Portfolio Manager, and Financial Planning Specialist at Morgan Stanley. She has 27 years of wealth management experience starting with Smith Barney in 1996. She joined Morgan Stanley through the Smith Barney merger. She was named by the Five Star Professional "A Five Star Wealth Manager" from 2012-2022, as this award was published in the Pittsburgh Magazine.

By putting her clients first and sincerely caring about their future, Patricia has developed a successful practice dedicated to building and enhancing long term relationships. Her client base is relatively small so she can provide personal attention to each individual’s situation. She is willing to spend hours to get to know the client, their family, their values, concerns, whether financial or otherwise. Her favorite part of the business is when clients share their success stories.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, Patricia develops retirement plans, retirement distribution plans, investment plans, education funding plans, and estate planning and stock option strategies. Patricia can provide access to a full range of investment products and services including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, managed accounts, options, annuities, IRAs, and access to lending services. She is also insurance licensed and can assist in life, long term care, and annuities. Patricia holds a Portfolio Manager designation. Before becoming a Financial Advisor, Patricia worked as an industrial engineer at a steel mill and later as a project engineer for a manufacturing company. Having an engineering mindset gives Patricia the advantage of bringing an analytical and detailed-oriented perspective to financial planning and portfolio management.

Patricia was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. She earned a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, where she graduated with University Honors. Along with her Financial Planning Specialist and Portfolio Manager designations, Patricia has Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses.

Community involvement is very important to Patricia. She participates in numerous activities at her church including singing in the choir. Patricia lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, singing, and watching sports. She is an avid Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers fan as well as cheering for Duquesne and Carnegie Mellon men’s and women’s basketball.

About Matthew R. Ruffalo

Matthew R. Ruffalo is a Vice President and Consulting Group Analyst with The Allegheny Group at Morgan Stanley. Matthew provides ongoing attention to client portfolios and consistently monitors the investment and manager universe available to the clients of Morgan Stanley.

Prior to joining the team in 2004, Matthew earned his B.A. in Economics from Fordham University with a minor in Business Administration. Matthew participates in the overall business development of clientele by working closely with his colleagues Henry Bernacki and John Jones on reporting, portfolio analysis and maintenance, financial planning, and marketing strategy. Matthew maintains responsibility over the performance metrics of client accounts and the team’s trading and portfolio implementation strategy.

Matthew currently resides in Upper St. Clair with his wife Jessica and their two daughters Riley and Olivia. In addition to being an avid skier, Matthew is passionate about his participation in Y-Princesses, a YMCA father/daughter program.

Adrian C. Alexander is a Registered Client Service Associate with The Allegheny Group at Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2021, Adrian held positions at BNY Mellon in Tax Reporting and Compliance and Wealth Management Service Delivery.
