Our Story and Services

We coach families towards wealth by taking a holistic and whole-hearted approach to the connection of personal and financial goals.

We start with a conversation. By understanding what motivates each individual, we get to know our clients on a level that gives us absolute conviction in our advice. From there, we build a financial plan and most importantly, we revisit the plan and check in regularly. Communication is paramount in all we do.

We enjoy working with a diverse client base that includes professional sports groups, business owners, and retirees. Our clients benefit from our combined 45 years’ experience as guides and thought leaders through market volatility.

Our team strongly believes our clients and their families have worked hard to establish a foundation of wealth and we work hard to protect and grow that foundation towards a stable financial future where their goals are met and exceeded.

Working With You

At Morgan Stanley, we believe that identifying financial solutions begins with a solid understanding of each client's situation, goals, objectives and risk tolerance. We follow a disciplined process that allows us to work with you to craft a solution that helps meet your individual financial needs:

    Icon Image
    Step 1: Introductory Meeting

Our relationship begins with an initial discussion aimed towards getting to know you, your lifestyle, and your future goals.

    Icon Image
    Step 2: Discovery Meeting

During the discovery meeting, we will work together to establish your financial goals by reviewing your current financial situation and developing an appropriate risk tolerance that can help you achieve the financial outcome you envision for yourself.

    Icon Image
    Step 3: Financial Plan Presentation

Financial plan presentations map our essential factors that play into your financial success such as your employee and employer contributions, liquidity events, and insurance coverage. Examining relevant financial information provides a holistic asset allocation analysis for your accounts, helping ensure a comprehensive financial plan.

    Icon Image
Step 4: Action Items / Next Steps

After the financial plan presentation, we will follow up with you regarding our analysis and recommendations, which may include adjustments to your financial plan, investment allocation, company benefits and insurance coverage.

    Icon Image
    Step 5: Implementation Meeting

The implementation meeting focuses on creating prospective strategies custom designed for your specific needs. Recommended changes could include logistics, tax impact, asset allocation adjustments, and saving/benefit modifications.

    Icon Image
Step 6: Monitoring & Performance Tracking

Finally, we will be constantly monitoring your assets and analyzing your performance tracking data, seeking to ensure your financial expectations are being met and adjusted accordingly. We will keep a high degree of communication with you to make sure your concerns and requests are always addressed.

About George Mundell

With 30 years of experience as a financial advisor, George has steered his clients through several challenging market cycles – as well as world events that impacted the economy – with unbiased analysis, insightful advice and exceptional integrity. But, enabling clients to successfully navigate evolving global or personal economic situations is more than a passion for George. It’s a family tradition.

His mother founded the practice in 1980, and George joined in 1993. Together, they developed a strong, diverse client base built on lasting relationships. He believes financial planning is a dynamic, ongoing process that involves education, assessment, monitoring and open communication. For more than two decades,

George has worked with coaches, athletes, general managers, scouts and athletic trainers. 7Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice.
