      Drawing on 25 years of capital markets experience, William Wolcott advises wealthy families on the creation of highly customized wealth management plans that are designed to meet their goals, needs, objectives and tolerance for risk. 

      Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2016, William spent seven years advising high net worth clients at The Private Bank of J.P. Morgan in San Francisco. Earlier in his career, he covered the largest institutional equity portfolio managers on the west coast while working for Chase H&Q, J.P. Morgan and Lazard Freres. William began his financial services career on the Equity Capital Markets desk at the San Francisco based, boutique investment bank Hambrecht & Quist, where during the late 1990’s, he priced, allocated and traded over one thousand equity IPO  and Follow-on  transactions for growth companies within the technology, healthcare and consumer sectors.
       
      William has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Hobart & William Smith Colleges and attended the Cate School. He serves on the Board of Trustees at both the San Francisco Waldorf School and The Bay Institute,  where he chairs both Finance  and Investment Committees.
