About Kapil Mathur

Kapil Mathur (Sugar Land Branch Manager) is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley.  He joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 and as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of The Math Group, a team of sixteen professionals that serves leading families throughout the United States.  Mr. Mathur is a Senior Portfolio Management Director and Financial Advisor and was Co-Chair of the Firm’s 2,500+ member Multicultural Employee Networking Group.  Mr. Mathur is a current and past member of Morgan Stanley’s Chairman’s Club, comprised of the top 2% of Advisors at Morgan Stanley, and is currently one of two individuals nationally to be both a Manager and in the Chairman’s Club.
Previously, Mr. Mathur was an investment banker, private equity investor, and consultant.   He was with McKinsey & Company in Houston, Dell Corporate Strategy, and MSD Capital’s Private Equity group. He holds a B.B.A in Business Honors and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  Mr. Mathur is a member of the Board of Directors of Magic Bus USA, the Alumni Board of the Canfield Business Honors Program at UT, and a Founder’s Circle Member of the Cullinan Park Conservancy.   He is a member of Tiger 21, serves as President of Magic Bus Houston and is a Past President of the Harvard Business School Club of Houston.
Mr. Mathur is a proud Canadian by birth and lives in Sugar Land Texas with his wife Dr. Sheela Parekh and their children Shan and Karina.   He is a die-hard Houston Rocket fan and enjoys soccer, travel, wine tasting and philanthropy.

About Nicholas Domingue

Nick began his career at Legg Mason in April of 2004 as a Client Service Associate. He has since served in a variety of capacities through mergers with Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley, including Service Associate, Market Business Service Officer, and his current role as Business Service Officer. Nick attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is an avid supporter of the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns athletic department. He has served as public address announcer in various sports over the course of twenty years.

About Lauren Kennedy

Lauren is currently an Assistant Vice President and serves as the Risk Officer for the Greater Houston Market. She started her career in the financial services industry in 2010 and has over 15 years of experience in both service and sales prior to joining management. Most recently, she joined Morgan Stanley in 2025 and is responsible for a wide variety of supervisory, compliance and risk functions for the market. Lauren lives in Katy, Texas with her husband, James, two year old son, Isaiah, and two rescue dogs. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, new food experiences, hiking, The Astros, F1 and spending as much time with family and friends as she can.
