About Me

Steven S. Murray is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley and carries the firm’s Family Wealth Director designation, having satisfied rigorous accreditation and continuing education requirements.

With more than 35 years of wealth management experience, Steven provides highly customized advice, investment solutions, and wealth management services to high net worth individuals, business owners, foundations and endowments. He listens carefully to his clients’ goals, values and concerns and works tirelessly to help make a difference in their lives by providing holistic wealth planning services with passion and integrity.

A graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Steven has continued to invest in his education throughout his long and rewarding career at Morgan Stanley. In 1995, he earned the designation, Senior Investment Management Consultant, awarded by the Consulting Group, the managed money unit of Morgan Stanley. Most recently, Steven attained the prestigious Morgan Stanley designation of Family Wealth Director. This credential, achieved by about four percent of the Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor population(As of December 2022), places Steven in a category of financial advisors who are qualified to service the sophisticated needs of ultra-high net worth clients.

Steven currently resides in Denver with his wife, Christine. They have two daughters, Danielle and Lauren. In his leisure time, he enjoys skiing, fishing and travel.

    Drawing on more than 20 years of experience at Morgan Stanley, Tanisha provides a wide range of operational and administrative support services for Steve's clients. Her many responsibilities include account opening, fund transfers and distributions, the preparation of client reports, and general account maintenance. Tanisha is passionate about delivering unsurpassed client service and is always available to answer client's questions and assist them in a wide range of services from statement queries to online account access. Being fully licensed, Tanisha is also able to help clients with trades, when Steve is unavailable.

    Prior to joining Steve in August 2014, Tanisha worked in Morgan Stanley's Denver Tech Center branch, where she began her career with the firm in 1996.  As a Portfolio Associate there, she was responsible for working directly with clients, anticipating their specific needs and delivering upon them with excellent care. Tanisha currently holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses.
     
    Tanisha and her husband recently moved to Cherry Creek, Colorado.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and travelling.

About Matt Stotler

Matt Stotler is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Colorado.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Matt began his career in financial services in 1987 with Bank of America, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2016 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Regional Manager at Merrill Lynch. He also served as a Private Client Manager with U.S. Trust.

Matt is a graduate of California State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish. He currently lives in Parker, Colorado. Outside of the office, Matt enjoys playing and coaching soccer, as well as spending time hiking, camping and biking with his 3 daughters.
