Our Story

We'll tell you one story, involving a family patriarch who passed away, leaving behind his wife of over 50 years and four adult children. We met with the entire family on a Saturday morning, the only time that all four children could be there. Important decisions were made, such as guiding them to the appropriate assisted living facility for their mother who was in the early stages of dementia. We mentioned perhaps a more appropriate attorney who had greater expertise in late stage estate planning. The result was a complete financial plan that protected the estate, children and grandchildren.

    About Me

    As a team we are all driven to make a difference in the lives of our clients and the communities in which we live.  Each of our roles allows us to utilize our respective talents to make an impact with our clients and their families.  Being the senior wealth advisor allows me to steer investment strategy for the team and work with individual families to solve their complex financial scenarios.  The approach is to analyze options to discern the most appropriate course of actions that lead to solutions, and to explain matters in a simple, easy to understand manner.  It is important to create clarity and confidence to help our clients finish well in their retirement with dignity and peace.  My community activities include being on the Board of Directors of the Naperville Heritage Society, a volunteer with the Naper Settlement, and involvement with Koinonia House National Ministries, an organization that provides emotional and spiritual support to families with loved ones who are currently serving time in prison. After graduation from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Business, my over 30 year career as a Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley began. In 1993 advanced studies programs at the Warton School of the University of Pennsylvania were completed, and the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner™ was attained in 1989.

    The financial world has always been of interest to me.  I bought my first mutual fund, when I was 17 years old, thanks to the advice of my father.  I learned early on that it takes an experienced advisor and patience to achieve your goals.  That is what drew me in to the financial planning business in 1989, because I had a fascination for understanding how the Markets worked, and a strong desire to help people solve their problems and achieve their dreams.  So it is no surprise that after graudating Nortthern Illinois University with a B.S. in Marketing, I entered the business as a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley in Oak Brook, Illinois in 1993.  Today, I am a Vice President, Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Planner.  My passion is creating the Planning roadmap that clarifies where clients want to go, and how to get them there.  

    I’ve been inspired to take this piece of my family life into helping other special needs families.  I am the Vice President for the DuPage County Care Center Foundation in Wheaton, Illinois, where my sister, resides.  I am also passionate about giving back to the community.  I am a member of 100+ “Women Who Care” in Naperville, and an active Morgan Stanley Volunteer.

    Each family has a different life experience and I am fascinated to understand who you are, where you have been and where you want to go.  I look at you and your family and work to solve for the issues that are important to you.  My goal is to work with each family to develop a step by step plan that will be specifically tailored to their needs and goals and then develop a roadmap to implement and achieve their life dreams.
