Our Core Process

The MayRiver Group designs client portfolios around individual equity and fixed income securities, allowing us greater adaptability to clients' specific objectives. A portfolio typically consists of the following:

  • Equity: 20-30 individual securities, based on global presence, industry leadership, and fundamental metrics
  • Fixed Income: Specific investment-grade corporate, municipal, and government bonds
  • Alternative Investments: Private Equity/Credit offerings and Structured Investments for qualified clients
    We believe that such a concentration allows for a more intricate approach to investing, tax and expense management, while still providing the appropriate diversification for a client's risk tolerance. We may employ the use of mutual funds or ETFs where we deem necessary, depending upon the nature of a client's portfolio and objectives.

    Intelligent Withdrawals (IW) enables us the ability to analyze a client's portfolio to generate a tax-efficient withdrawal recommendation right down to a particular security and tax lot level.
