About Emilio de Sousa

Emilio de Sousa is a Managing Director, Wealth Management, Financial Advisor, and Senior Portfolio Management Director with The Skyline Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley. For over 30 years, he has been committed to guiding executives, business owners, and families through the many complexities of their financial life.

Emilio began his career as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo in 1995. In his tenure at the Firm, he established and grew a team of advisors with the breadth of experience and insight to provide clients with a truly comprehensive approach to wealth management. In 2010, he brought the team over to Morgan Stanley, seeking to enhance his offering with the resources of a global leader in financial services. In 2017, Emilio and Allan Walsworth merged their respective teams and they now oversee a team of fourteen financial professionals all working toward one mission: to provide seasoned guidance on every aspect of clients' financial lives.

As a Senior Portfolio Management Director, Emilio’s emphasis is on the capital markets and asset management -- with a special focus on aligning client portfolios with their customized financial plans. About Allan Walsworth

Allan K Walsworth is a Managing Director, Wealth Management with The Skyline Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley. About Melissa Barney

Melissa has been with the Skyline Wealth Management Group since 2005. She has the enviable responsibility of gathering all of the information from the families we serve, and then constructing the comprehensive financial plan. Her gifts range from her impressive communication and listening skills, to her ability to compile seemingly unrelated data and information into a plan that establishes a clear pathway for meeting the family’s goals. She works closely with the other advisors on the team to make sure clients receive the information they need to help make the important decisions in life.

Prior to joining the team, Melissa, thinking she might want to practice law, went to work for a law firm while taking courses at San Jose State. Upon graduation with a degree in Finance, she decided instead to leverage what she learned with respect to estates and trusts and shifted her focus to financial services where she could fully leverage her skills. Meshing financial knowledge with estate planning knowledge.

Outside the office, Melissa resides in South San Jose, CA, with her son Luke and her beloved dog, LeLu. An adventurer at heart, she enjoys sharing her love of exploration with her family, whether along the coast of California or skiing in Lake Tahoe. She is often cheering on Luke at his sporting events that right now include football, baseball, soccer and ice hockey. A former athlete herself, Melissa still plays volleyball and used to compete in athletic events including the SF Nike half marathon, Tough Mudder races at Lake Tahoe and Mt. Diablo, and the Across the Bay 12k.

Since then, he has continued to build his skillset, transitioning from a Wealth Management Analyst to his current role as Group Director, which he has held since 2019.

A self-described “jack of all trades,” Mike maintains a range of responsibilities with the team. He provides high-level team oversight, ideates growth strategy, and implements the team's business plan. He also helps maintain and enhance the team’s commitment to client service, managing the development and execution of strategies to address client concerns and navigate operational issues seamlessly. Over the years, he has also served as a primary client contact, handling an array of general client inquiries across a wide spectrum of financial topics. Outside the office, Mike resides in San Jose, CA, with his son, Alex. Dedicated to his community, Mike leads several adult recreational volleyball leagues aimed at raising funds for local youth sports programs, including his alma mater, Adrian Wilcox High School. Cheryl joined Skyline Wealth Management Group in December 2024 as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate. Prior to joining she was supporting a team at our Morgan Stanley Los Gatos office.

With over 3 decades of financial services experience, she enjoys working with clients in facilitating all operational needs and executing solutions derived from their financial plan. Most recently having earned the Cash Engagement Specialist designation, Cheryl enjoys helping clients find solutions to their everyday cash needs for both personal and business.

She is a graduate from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, holds certificates in Personal Financial Planning from UC Santa Cruz and Strategic Leadership from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.

A Cupertino resident, she and her husband Alvin are the proud parents to their son, daughter and toy poodle. In her free time, Cheryl spends time with her family travelling and cooking for them. When not in the office, she volunteers at her children’s sporting events and various non profits committed to children’s issues and workforce diversity.

About Alyssa Chi

Alyssa Chi is a Registered Client Service Associate with The Skyline Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley. A team player with a passion for helping others, Alyssa provides assistance and support for both the team’s financial advisors and their clients.

While working on her Business Administration degree from San Jose State University, Alyssa entered the wealth management industry as an intern with Morgan Stanley. Upon graduation, she joined the firm full-time joining the Skyline Wealth Management Group.

With the team, Alyssa serves as a dynamic resource with the broad skillset and solutions-oriented approach to help deliver an enhanced client experience. While her responsibilities encompass many different facets of wealth management, she works with one goal in mind: to help the team build and maintain meaningful relationships with each and every client. With a long career still ahead of her, she looks forward to growing alongside her clients and their families, and helping them achieve their goals for generations to come.

Outside office, Alyssa lives in San Jose, CA. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places with friends and catching up with family. Renvir Gellon is a Client Service Associate with The Skyline Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley. Focused on client engagement and satisfaction, Renvir is set on being a resourceful point of contact to ensure that client’s goals are met.

After graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors degree in Economics, Renvir found a passion for financial services, joining the Skyline Wealth Management group at Morgan Stanley in 2024.

Having an analytical approach, he is committed to solving issues proactively to ensure efficient results. About Max Walsworth

Max Walsworth is a Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in San Jose, California. With a solid foundation in Finance and Accounting, Max is dedicated to delivering outstanding service and support to our clients. He joined the team in January 2026, bringing with him experience from PwC’s Asset and Wealth Management Tax practice, where he worked extensively with private equity and hedge fund clients.

Max's leadership and teamwork skills were further developed during his time as a Division 1 Water Polo athlete at Loyola Marymount University, where he was a senior co-captain. His academic accomplishments include being named to the WWPA, WCC, and Collegiate Water Polo All-Academic Teams, as well as the Dean's List.

Max is enthusiastic about applying his energy and commitment to his role at Morgan Stanley. He lives in Los Gatos, California, and enjoys an active lifestyle, with interests in golf, mountain biking, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.
