Meet Shattuck Calvert Group

About Me

Cathy graduated from Seattle University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics, obtained while working full-time as a corporate cash manager at Skippers Seafood & Chowder House.

In 1988, she joined Prudential Securities. Her training was on Wall Street in New York, and she returned to Seattle as Associate Vice President – Financial Consultant. In 1994, she joined Salomon Smith Barney in Seattle, and held the position of First Vice President – Senior Portfolio Manager. In 2003, she joined RBC Wealth Management. She currently works at Morgan Stanley in Silverdale and holds the position of Senior Vice President- Financial Advisor.

She has helped clients achieve their financial, retirement and estate goals by providing comprehensive strategies in asset allocation, risk management and estate planning for the past 30 years. She has served on numerous boards in the past, including the Treasurer for the Women’s Golf Group at Wing Point Country Club. She holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 security licenses, and holds an insurance license in Washington state.

About Me

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Marty was a Financial Advisor with RBC for the past 30 years. Marty brings years of experience providing comprehensive strategies in asset allocation and risk management within each client’s unique personal plan. Marty’s client base includes foundations, nonprofits, retirees, corporate executives, affluent families, private business owners, individuals with large, concentrated stock positions, and people from all walks of life who want their beliefs and values represented in their investments.

Marty previously served as a financial commentator on the morning and noon news for Seattle’s local CBS affiliate KIRO TV, as well as for CNN-Asia. He taught a finance and investing course through the University of Washington extension program and has been appointed as a Montana Ambassador by Governor Schweitzer of Montana since 2012. Marty held director seats on numerous boards of both for-profit and nonprofit organizations and is active in many local and national charities.

Marty holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 security licenses and holds an insurance license for the state of Washington.
