My Story and Services

Sean Grattan joined Morgan Stanley in 2025, bringing with him over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Sean is deeply passionate guiding clients through their financial journeys, viewing it as a privilege to be part of their lives. His approach is centered on the belief that success is where preparation meets opportunity. He’s dedicated to helping clients not only accumulate assets but to spend more time with their loved ones and to pursue interests that may have been set aside.

Sean’s educational background began with an undergraduate degree in Sociology, Anthropology, and Religion from St. Michael’s College. He furthered his education at the College for Financial Planning, earning a degree as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. Unlike many in the field, he prioritizes basic financial planning before making portfolio recommendations, facilitating meaningful conversations with his clients to understand the why behind the numbers. His commitment to work confidentially and rigorously, through a cash flow lens, helps transform the complex into the simple.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Sean is honored to be a part of Vermont’s Camp Ta Kum Ta, which provides extraordinary experiences for children who have or have had cancer, and their families. Since 2012, he has contributed as a member of the inaugural Finance Committee, served on the Board of Directors for nine years, and held roles as Treasurer and Vice President. However, his most cherished role has been as a cabin counselor in the Middle Boys Cabin.

Sean loves spending time with his daughter Emma, volunteering backstage at Vermont Youth Dancers and even made a cameo appearance in their 2025 production of Oliver. During the winter, he and his son Aidan can be found smiling together on a frozen Lake Champlain as groundskeepers for Vermont Ice Golf and skiing the slopes and glades of Jay Peak. Throughout the rest of the year, he enjoys chasing down beaches and music with his wife Brandy, and hiking with their golden retriever Ivy, wherever there may be a forest trail or vista to perch upon.
