Scott Phelan has over 20 years of financial advising and planning experience. Currently, he is Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Management Director & Financial Advisor, at Morgan Stanley where his focus is helping build wealth for high net worth individuals and corporate clients. His core competencies include estate, retirement, insurance and income tax planning strategies. Scott has been part of Morgan Stanley’s prestigious Century Club for the past 3 years; most recently in 2018, an elite group composed of the firm’s top Financial Advisors that recognizes consistent creativity and excellence in providing a wide range of investment products and wealth management services to clients.

Scott has a long and distinguished career in the financial services industry having held leadership positions at Edward Jones, The Hartford and New England Financial.  Most recently, he was a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones where he not only advised, but mentored three junior advisors on relationship building and holistic financial planning strategies. Prior, Scott was at The Hartford where he received his Certified Financial Planning certification. He began his career at the New England Financial Group where he developed and implemented employee 401(k) programs.

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Georgia Terry College of Business and has served on a series of boards and committees. Scott is currently a Board of Director for Rainbow Village and Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation. Scott is a guest speaker at the University of Georgia and Emory University. He lives in the Athens, Georgia area with his wife Holly and two children, Lyla and Riley. Scott enjoys running, playing soccer and coaching his kids’ sports teams in his spare time!

    Cindy began her career in the Financial Services industry in 1992 in West Palm Beach, FL where she had the opportunity to service wealth management clients as a Registered Client Associate at Raymond James & Associates. She relocated to Suwanee, GA with her family in 2006 and since then has supported wealth management clients as a Registered Client Associate with Merrill Lynch until she joined Morgan Stanley in February 2017.  

    Cindy assists Scott in providing skilled support to his clients.  As a Senior Registered Client Associate, Cindy holds the Series 7 and 66 securities registrations.  She oversees daily operations, identifies and anticipates client needs, builds client relationships, and maintains client loyalty.

    In her spare time, she enjoys running and cycling with her husband and spending time with her daughters Elizabeth, Emma & Erin.
