Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Scott worked for the privately owned investment firm, Fayez Sarofim & Co. It was there he learned the ins and outs of the industry. Scott brings this knowledge with him as he coaches clients on managing risk, aligning investment objectives and allocating assets. When clients first meet with Scott, he provides a detailed prospectus plan to help them visualize the potential growth their assets could experience in one of our given financial platforms and how it compares to the market.

Scott has been recognized by Texas Monthly Magazine as a "Five Star Wealth Manager" every year since 2017. He was also named to the Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams list in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Scott is not only dedicated to his work but also to his involvement in several philanthropic organizations in the Houston area. He and his wife, Brandi, are strong supporters of the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and Meal on Wheels. Scott is also a member of Kingdom Advisors – a community of Christian financial professionals working to integrate faith and practice.

Scott also enjoys his time away from the office golfing, hunting and fishing. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys passing down the tradition to his three children, Hunter, Trent and Faith Ann.
