About Norman Ng
Norm Ng brings more than 31 years of experience advising financially successful individuals and building high-performing wealth management platforms. He serves in a senior leadership role in the San Francisco office of Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where he leads a specialty business encompassing Venture Services, Corporate Cash Management, and Endowments & Foundations, while supporting elite Private Wealth Advisor teams serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
Norm joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as Head of Client Development for the Pacific Coast, where he advanced the firm’s ultra-high-net-worth growth strategy and strengthened collaboration across divisions. He has been instrumental in expanding specialized resources to complex client relationships and aligning top advisory teams with the firm’s global platform.
Prior to Morgan Stanley, Norm played a key role in establishing the San Francisco office of UBS Private Wealth Management, leading its expansion across Palo Alto, Seattle, Bellevue, and Salt Lake City. Earlier in his career, he held multiple leadership roles within the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs & Co., including serving as Chief Operating Officer of one of the firm’s most productive Private Wealth Management teams overseeing more than $15 billion in assets under management.
He also previously managed financial planners throughout Northern California at Great Western Financial and began his career in the Private Investment Management Group at Lehman Brothers, advising high-net-worth individuals and business owners on wealth strategy and capital markets execution.
Norm earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from San Francisco State University.
