My Story and Services

Sam Bowyer is an Associate Vice President and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in Winter Park, Florida. He serves a notable group of people, each with a unique story of wealth creation. This group includes business owners, executives, individuals, and families. Each is looking to make the necessary decisions to grow and protect their wealth to ensure an enjoyable lifestyle and pass on their wealth and values to future generations. Sam creates comprehensive financial and investment plans to meet these goals.

By asking meaningful questions to identify priorities and concerns in his client’s lives, Sam determines what the genuine issues are with his clients. By understanding his clients’ needs, Sam provides a detailed and analytical approach to reaching and maintaining their financial goals. The foundation of this plan is wealth preservation, estate planning strategies, retirement analysis, risk analysis, tax-efficient investment strategies and, most importantly, lifestyle preservation.

Sam is a third generation Central Florida native and lives in Orlando with his wife, Julie, and his children, Evans and Caroline. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, playing golf and attending concerts. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2011, Sam worked as a Civil Engineer for a preeminent local engineering firm. In addition, Sam is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Greater Orlando Builders Association.

Working With You

Every client has goals and aspirations for their financial resources. Whether that is paying for your child’s higher education, an orderly transfer of your wealth to the next generation or simply retiring comfortably, you have ambitions and desires.

It’s unfortunate, but many investors use a rather piecemeal and random approach to financial planning. Because you’ve worked your entire life for a certain lifestyle in your retirement years, it’s critical that we follow a highly structured and comprehensive process in planning for those years. I use a 4-step process with my clients to develop and address their goals.
    Icon Image
    Discovery
The discovery process is critical to the proper development of your financial plan. By asking deeper and more meaningful questions, by identifying connections and discontinuities in your life and by discovering what your underlying motivations are, I can then deliver solutions to you that make your life easier. By investing my time to get to know you, your investments will be tailored to your needs.

    Financial Plan Development
Here, I will systematically work through the critical areas of your financial life to develop your financial plan. I will cover areas with you such as financial independence, retirement planning, liability issues, family planning, estate planning, charitable giving, and liquidity issues. After all, financial planning is not just about your investment portfolio. It’s about covering all your bases
    Icon Image
    Implementation
After a review with you, I will implement the plan. You will have access to the finest in financial thinking, products, and execution to help you meet your desired goals.
    Icon Image
    Follow Up and Ongoing
On an ongoing basis, I will review your investments versus your Financial Plan. I utilize a comprehensive client contact schedule to ensure that your financial plan is reviewed consistently, and you are informed in a pro-active manner.

My Clients

My clients are quite diverse and have varied interests, career paths, and family situations. However, they typically have many traits in common.

They are usually busy individuals who consider their financial future a priority. They care deeply about their families and work to provide the best for generations to come. They want to maintain a certain lifestyle and enjoy memorable experiences throughout their retirement.

One particular area of client focus is Engineers, Architects, Home Builders, Suppliers and other professionals in the Land Development Industry. My professional background and involvement in organizations related to this industry allow me to deeply understand their needs. By focusing on this group, I am able to provide advice and service specifically related to these individuals and business owners.
