ABOUT SABRINA PERSAUD

Sabrina Persaud, a Certified Financial Planner, joins Morgan Stanley as a Vice President Financial Advisor, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a client-centric approach honed during her tenure at Merrill Lynch. Originally from the country of Guyana, Sabrina's journey into the financial world is as inspiring as it is diverse. She began her career as a high school teacher in Guyana before moving to the United States, where she pursued her passion for finance.

Sabrina's academic journey led her to William Paterson University, one of the few institutions offering a financial planning program and was part of the Student Managed Portfolio Club. Here, she discovered her fascination with trust and retirement planning, which laid the foundation for her career. Starting as an intern at a small Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), she quickly advanced to a financial representative role at Fidelity, where she gained valuable experience in both services and advising.

At Merrill Lynch, Sabrina developed a hybrid approach that emphasized comprehensive client reviews, retirement, and financial planning. Her practice is characterized by providing exceptional client service, particularly to pre-retirees, retirees, widows, and women who may lack financial experience. Sabrina is passionate about guiding her clients through the transition from retirement to legacy planning, ensuring they receive the clarity and guidance they need.

Sabrina's move to Morgan Stanley is driven by her aspiration to lead with planning and leverage the firm's resources to better serve her clients. She believes that clients invest in the advisor, not just the company, a belief underscored by her clients' loyalty.

Beyond her professional achievements, Sabrina is deeply committed to giving back. She co-founded a humanitarian organization in Guyana, actively participates in her church, and mentors women in the financial industry, advocating for women's empowerment in a traditionally male-dominated field. Her dedication to community service aligns with Morgan Stanley's core values, and she finds fulfillment in seeing her clients happy and progressing in life.

Sabrina enjoys traveling with her husband and children, with favorite destinations including her homeland of Guyana, the Caribbean, and Europe. She practices mindfulness through yoga and meditation, and her personal success is defined by the trust and progress of her clients.
