My Story and Services

Russell uses his broad wealth management expertise to help high net worth individuals and families achieve their financial and life goals. Applying a research-driven advice process, he guides clients through a financial prioritization that emphasizes risk management and communication.

In addition to helping families, Russell focuses on helping business owners maximize the value of their largest asset – their business. He works alongside business owners to help identify goals, formulate a plan, and evaluate prospective options. He has been privileged to assist many successful business owners in this regard.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Russell had distinguished experience and senior investment management roles within UBS, JPMorgan Private Bank, and Goldman Sachs in New York. Most formative and influential to his existing client process was leading the Goldman Sachs' counterparty risk and collateral management process during the Global Financial Crisis. Russell received his M.B.A from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and his undergraduate B.E. from Vanderbilt University. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, as well the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® accreditation.

Value Proposition and Client Process

Our Purpose is to prioritize things today to help reduce risk, maximize value, and get on with it. We do this for founders, principals, and generally busy people. These are typically people who value brevity and precision. Our team is passionate about this prioritization process and strictly reinforcing the objectivity that comes with it. We believe not every investment or business opportunity has a maturity cycle that is the same. So, leveraging our proprietary tools and the strength of Morgan Stanley, we keep the dashboard in constant view. Our clients understand vigilance is not voluntary.

Client Process Q&A:
    1. How will our ideal clients be doing business in the future?
Our ideal clients will be those who see opportunities where others can’t, won’t, or don’t. They understand and appreciate the value of a personal and differentiated relationship that prioritizes their goals, objectivity, and process discipline.
    2. What do our individual clients & trusted advisors get from investing in our team?
Our individual clients & trusted advisors receive empirical, research-driven advice and access to best-in-class resources and professionals in order to make the best decisions for them.
    3. Where do we provide unique expertise?
We provide unique expertise in our approach to identifying, timing, and implementing opportunities. Not every investment has a maturity cycle that is the same, and the majority of pioneers end up with arrows in their back. The dashboard stays in constant view and our clients understand “vigilance is not voluntary”. It’s time to focus.
    4. What is it that makes our clients & trusted advisors want to work alongside us?
Our individual clients & trusted advisors choose to work together because of what makes the experience different. The difference in process, the difference in analysis, the difference in milestones and outcomes. For them, there is no going back to the way they were.
    5. How can we uniquely contribute and benefit the client's other professional advisors who impact their finances and lead to an inclusive vision?
The partners who have the foresight and capacity to partner with us in a meaningful way…they benefit from introductions and resources that elevate both their visibility and awareness with the right audience.

Business Owner Focus

You are fulfilling the end of a business journey which included a lot of milestones and sequential planning decisions. Sometimes, we encounter similar types of clients that made a decision at this stage about who they would work with, based upon what seemed important at the time or was suggested to them as important…but inevitably was one that did not correctly anticipate the real drivers of their financial future. So, while the future is uncertain, if looking into your crystal ball…what capabilities or unique expertise should your Advisor possess in order to give you the best chance of success?

You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. Russ Ferreri is an experienced financial advisor and investment manager who helps business owners address the complexities of their situation. Acting with clients’ best interests in mind, he seeks to earn their trust with responsive and personalized service.

Business Owner Q&A:
    1. How can we contribute to their business success?
By combining our unique background, experience, and analysis with their domain business expertise, we prioritize things today to help reduce risk, maximize value, and get on with it.
    2. How can we contribute to their life success?
Our client model is built around our clients. We provide a level of direct-to-you client service that simplifies their daily lives and meets them where they are. Whether that means facilitating cash flow planning, identifying other trusted advisors, or instilling an appreciation for lifelong financial learning with their next generation…we are in business to perpetuate their success.
    3. How should we be doing business in the future?
People are busier than ever and their attention has never been more difficult to capture. Doing business in the future means being more concise, more precise, and more integrated into clients’ way of doing business.
