My Story & Services

I work with clients to help them acquire, grow and distribute wealth by providing advice in a “product-neutral” environment

Since 1998, I have worked with individuals, families and businesses to provide custom financial solutions to grow, preserve and protect their wealth. As a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager, I bring a unique breadth and depth of industry knowledge and experience to a select group of clients.

As a Financial Advisor with 24 years of experience, I focus on portfolio construction and asset allocation for our group’s clients. My investment approach embraces a wide variety of financial instruments to develop investment and portfolio management strategies. I strive to identify unique, risk-mitigating opportunities to match each client’s personal objectives.

One of my goals is to deliver exceptional service and successful results in every aspect of the client relationship. My clients know that I ask the questions that get at the heart of their investment needs. And, as a successful Financial Advisor, I am personally aware of what it takes to empower people to build businesses about which they are passionate.

I grew up in the Hudson Valley region of New York State and graduated from SUNY at Brockport in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. I moved to California in 1997 and joined Morgan Stanley Dean Witter’s Newport Beach office in 1998. I was soon tapped for a management position and have managed branches in Ontario, Brea, Santa Ana and Claremont, California, while also serving the needs of my own clients.

Outside of work, I stay busy with the myriad activities of my two girls.

Family Office Resources

Over the years, Ruarri has seen the shift in balance of financial power in families. Where husbands used to conduct the investment conversation on behalf of their wives, and children were in the dark regarding legacy and estate planning, this is no longer the case. Research shows that in marriage, greater than half of women are bringing in a greater amount of financial assets to the household. In addition, families are beginning to understand the value of multigenerational planning and including children and grandchildren in these discussions.

These new social dynamics require different skills than traditional approaches to financial planning. Whether it is helping women navigate unique situations, care for aging parents, facing the death of a partner or more, Ruarri excels at understanding and clearly articulating the big picture view of the whole family unit. In addition, Ruarri leverages the versatile resources of Morgan Stanley and professionals to make it more likely that all members of the family have the foundation and support needed to lead meaningful, fulfilled and engaged lives.

Portfolio Services

Morgan Stanley Portfolio Services were established to provide individual investors with a level of personalized portfolio management typically reserved for many institutional investors.

All portfolios are managed individually on a fully discretionary basis by Financial Advisors at Morgan Stanley who have been qualified by the firm to independently manage client assets based on training, experience and commitment to service.
At a time when many financial advisors delegate that responsibility to third-party portfolio managers, our group has the credentials and experience to offer our clients:

• Direct access to the investment professionals managing your portfolio
• Personalized service
• A disciplined, multi-part investment process
• Ongoing communications and reporting
• Access to the intellectual capital and global resources of Morgan Stanley

The strategies I create in an effort to help you reach your goals may include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or exchange-traded funds -- all with risk-reward parameters you can live with.

My goal is to create customized portfolios that:
• Deliver highly competitive investment returns
• Maintain an eye on capital preservation
• Anticipate market movement and adjust asset allocation
• Apply skilled management
