Rouby Souraty

My Mission Statement
My Story and Services
Rouby’s practice is built around understanding each client’s full financial picture. She takes the time to learn about each client’s goals, family priorities, investment experience, retirement needs, liquidity considerations and long-term vision. From there, she helps develop a customized strategy that may include investment management, retirement planning, cash management and lending, education planning, estate planning strategies and access to Morgan Stanley’s broader resources where appropriate.
Because many clients have financial lives that extend beyond one account, one generation or one country, Rouby takes a holistic view of wealth. As an International Client Advisor, she understands that global families and international investors may face additional complexity when managing assets, planning for future generations and coordinating financial priorities across borders.
Rouby’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Business Administration from New York University, and she continues to place a high value on education — both personally and for her clients.
Rouby believes informed clients are more confident clients. That is why communication is central to her practice. She strives to explain financial concepts clearly, stay closely connected with clients and serve as a steady resource through changing markets, life transitions and important family decisions. Fluent in English, French and Arabic, with a working knowledge of Spanish, Rouby values the ability to connect with clients across cultures and backgrounds.
Her goal is to provide thoughtful advice, attentive service and a disciplined planning process that helps clients manage wealth today while preparing for the future.

6Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan's investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan's flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan's investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state's own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state's tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
7Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC is a registered Broker/Dealer, Member SIPC, and not a bank. Where appropriate, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC has entered into arrangements with banks and other third parties to assist in offering certain banking related products and services.

10Municipal bonds may not be appropriate for all investors. Income generated from an investment in a municipal bond is generally exempt from federal income taxes.
