Core Capabilities

While I view risk exposure as a fundamental component to investing, I also believe when clients have a clear understanding of their risk tolerance the stress of investing is reduced exponentially. To proactively combat risk and potential stress that clients may experience, he thoughtfully discusses each investment choice to provide a clear understanding of potential risks vs. possible rewards inherent in the selected investment choices.

    Financial Planning
Centered on a comprehensive financial plan, I will ensure that all investment decisions are matched to clients’ defined objectives, short and long term financial goals, as well as the client’s risk tolerance.
    Icon Image
    Asset Allocation & Active-Management:
I see active-management as ever more important wealth management strategy in today’s volatile markets. In addition to traditional asset allocation, active-management strategies assist clients in building a portfolio that includes other non-correlated asset classes such as; alternative investments and/or managed futures to help manage risk and improve returns. Importantly, while active-management may not be appropriate for every client, I will take the time to communicate the pros and cons, so informed decisions can be made reflecting the established risk tolerance and financial planning goals of my client(s).
    Icon Image
    Portfolio Management
Determining the proper selection of investment(s) is the key to portfolio management. Built through clear and on-going communication with clients, portfolio management can leverage needs, concerns, and goals originally defined by clients as well as promptly acknowledge the evolving nature of each.
    Icon Image
    Client Services
Another key pillar of my financial advisory process is timely and ongoing client services; including portfolio reviews and financial plan revision(s). Through active monitoring of market volatility and proactive out-reach to clients, I provide a strategic level of actionable steps geared at potentially minimizing negative impact to clients’ portfolios.

    Restricted Share Units (RSUs)
Restricted stock units (RSUs) are a promise to deliver shares of company stock to the holder on a specified event or date (known as vesting). Some companies award a set number of RSUs, while others award RSUs based on a set dollar value. You do not need to purchase the shares as they are granted to you once they fully vest.

    Stock Options
To take advantage of your stock options, you have to purchase the stock at a fixed grant price (aka exercise price or strike price) during a specific period of time.

    Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
An Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) is a benefit some public companies offer. Through payroll deductions, employees can purchase company stock at a discount to the current market price.

Do More with Your Wealth

Our Investing with Impact platform is composed of a diverse range of funds and other investments designed to advance environmental, economic and social goals — while striving for competitive performance. What if your investments could influence a positive change in the world without sacrificing the level of return you need to meet your financial goals? In combination with Morgan Stanley's award winning Impact Quotient tool, we are able to show you the total impact of your investments, as well as the financial performance of your portfolio.

The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria.

Invest with Impact Framework:

  • Intentionality
  • Influence
  • Inclusion

8Investing in the market entails the risk of market volatility. The value of all types of investments may increase or decrease over varying time periods. The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of sustainable or impact investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because sustainability and impact criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria.
