My Story

Richard J. Sanfilippo is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor and Senior Portfolio Management Director at Morgan Stanley in Winter Park, FL. He started his career in the financial services industry with Arthur Andersen, providing consulting advice to several Wall Street and Financial Services firms. In 1992 he began his career at Morgan Stanley, and for the past 31 years has dedicated himself to delivering the highest level of professional investment advice and service that his clients expect from a world leading investment firm.

Richard is passionate about helping his clients plan for the financial road ahead of them, so that they can enjoy their lives, as they build and preserve their nest egg. His goal is to make the complex investment world a little simpler. He does this by helping his clients clarify their goals, develop a strategy to reach those goals and then monitors, reviews, and adjusts the plan along the way, to ensure that his clients remain on track.

Richard received his BBA from Baylor University in 1985, and later, received his MBA from Baylor University in 1986. He holds Series 7, 63, 65, and Life and Health Insurance licenses. Richard has over 30 years of experience with Morgan Stanley and serves clients who need wealth management solutions, professional portfolio management, asset allocation, retirement planning, estate planning strategies and corporate retirement planning.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time with his family including his daughter and two sons.
