Planning For Your Future

I understand that so many of life’s major decisions are determined by forces outside of an individual’s control - defining and enjoying a successful retirement does not have to be one of them. As you begin your retirement journey, I would be honored to be your guide through this rewarding and challenging period.
    Icon Image
    Understanding You
I will schedule a meeting so we can understand more of who you are and what are you goals. I will help define your idea of retirement, establishing goals, assessing your current resources, and analyzing saving vehicles options.
    Icon Image
    The Psychological Transition
There's more to retirement than just financial planning. I'm here to ensure you're emotionally and mentally ready to settle down. I understand it can be difficult to step away from your career and begin a new phase of your life with an unknown future.
    Icon Image
    Taxes and Risk
Once I've established your goals for retirement, I will assess the risk that can put a roadblock between you and your future. Many individuals worry about the amount of taxes they will have to pay once they stop working. A good tax management plan can potentially decrease the impact while helping you retain your returns.
    Icon Image
Transitioning With You Through Each Phase
Retirement can be split into three phases: Early, Mid and Late. I will help you plan and adjust through each phase based on your needs at the moment. My goal is to ensure you enjoy the perks of retirements and bring you confidence with handling your wealth. I will actively monitor your financial plan and make any adjustments to help keep you on track, help you establish a routine and create tax efficient distribution strategies.

2Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
