About Dean A. Obenauer

Dean Obenauer is Market Manager of three locations across Northern Nevada (Reno, Incline Village and Elko). He prides himself on supporting some of the most seasoned and dedicated Financial Advisors in Nevada as they serve the wealth needs of their respective clients. Dean focuses on assisting these Partners in bringing Morgan Stanley’s intellectual capital and integrated firm to life. He also enjoys building dedicated personal relationships with valued clients as well.

In addition to supporting Partners and Clients, Dean actively courts talented Financial Advisors and Service Professionals to join Morgan Stanley’s client first and collegial culture. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierras (Reno), on the lake (Incline Village) and near the Ruby Mountains (Elko); this is truly a destination market for financial professionals and their clients.

Dean earned his B.A. in English from Arizona State University and obtained the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from The Wharton School at Penn. Registered in January of 1993, he has over 30 years of investment management experience.

Giving Back is important here and Dean actively supports the Northern Nevada Food Bank, Nevada Women’s Fund, and Children’s Cabinet. Market employees support more than 20 other important organizations whose missions make a difference to thousands of people in our community.

About Angela Wright

Angela grew up in the Sacramento area where she raised her family, daughter Asia and son Dayan. In 2008, Angela began her career in the securities industry with AG Edwards working with the Operations and Service departments. Angela joined Morgan Stanley in 2016 to continue her path in operations as a SR. Service Associate. Shortly after she joined the team, she became licensed with her Series 7 and 66. Immediately Angela entered and completed Morgan Stanley’s Leadership Readiness Program. At the completion, she was offered her current role as the Business Service Officer in Reno, NV where she most recently relocated to.

Angela welcomed her first grandchild in 2019 and is enjoying her new role as Grandma. She also enjoys being outdoors, hiking and meeting new friends. Exploring her new town and surrounding areas has become a favorite past time as well.

About Shannon Mountain

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Shannon spent 10 years with UBS where she held various roles with the last 4 years as an Administrative Manager/Associate Director. She also spent 13 years with Merrill Lynch where she was a Financial Advisor for 7 years and various other roles during her tenure. Shannon attended the University of Phoenix and holds Series 6,7,63,65,9,10 as well as her Insurance license.

Shannon was born and raised in South Florida and moved to the West Coast in 2001. She has been married for 35 years and has 2 great sons who are both married. They welcomed their first grandchild in June of 2021.

Shannon enjoys biking, hiking and playing disc golf with her kids.

About Michelle Minck

Michelle joined Morgan Stanley as a highly accomplished administrative and operations professional, bringing a distinguished record of executive support and organizational leadership. Most recently, she served as Executive Administrator to the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Maui Jim, where she played a key role in managing strategic initiatives and executive operations.

Prior to that, Michelle spent over 13 years with International Game Technology (IGT), advancing through roles of increasing responsibility. As an Internal Auditor, she led complex Sarbanes-Oxley, compliance, operational, and international audit engagements, contributing to the company’s global governance and risk management objectives. Earlier in her tenure, she provided executive-level support to multiple cross-functional leaders, demonstrating exceptional operational insight and discretion.

A graduate of California State University, East Bay, Michelle recently obtained her Notary Public commission to further strengthen client service capabilities. Beyond her professional achievements, she is passionate about travel, music, and supporting local non-profit organizations.

About Kevin Cueva

Kevin Cueva is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in California and Nevada.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Kevin began his career in financial services in 2012 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. Prior to being promoted to his current role, he served as an Associate Private Banker supporting Wealth Management offices in California and Hawaii. Before joining the firm, Kevin was a Private Client Advisor at JPMorgan Chase.

Kevin received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the University of California, Davis. He resides in California with his family. Outside of the office, Kevin enjoys traveling and playing different sports.
