My Story

Wealth is about more than money.  True wealth is also about your life and the things you value most.

As the financial world becomes more complex and investment choices multiply, careful planning becomes ever more important to helping you achieve your financial goals. As your Financial Advisor, my role is to work with you to help you develop a strategy that lays out a clear path to your goals—a strategy that I develop in collaboration with you, and one that you can follow with confidence in the face of the market’s ups and downs.

Together, we will explore a broad range of topics that are likely to influence your financial future—from your family situation to your career aspirations, from likely education expenses to the retirement you ultimately envision. What I learn will become the foundation for a financial and investment strategy based on who you are and where you want to go. Only then will I talk with you about the details of investing: how much risk makes sense, your asset allocation, and which investments may be appropriate for your portfolio.

Rebecca’s financial services career spans almost three decades and focuses on helping corporate executives, successful business owners and their families understand the issues standing between them and their most important goals.
Her early experience as a bank branch manager provided her with a solid background in credit and lending while convincing her that clients must analyze both sides of their personal balance sheets to achieve their goals.

A Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Certified Retirement Counselor™™ (CRC®,) Rebecca focuses on the total finances of her clients before creating comprehensive plans that address not only their investments, but almost every aspect of their financial lives. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 because she believed that the firm offered her the freedom to act in her clients’ best interests and choose from an almost infinite variety of product solutions to implement the plans she devised.

As a co-founder of the BNJ Group, at Morgan Stanley, Rebecca plays a major role in both plan formulation and implementation through the selection of carefully researched investment management organizations. Nominated to Morgan Stanley’s National Diversity & Inclusion Council in 2016, she later spearheaded the establishment of Morgan Stanley’s Central New Jersey Complex Diversity Council, working with local organizations who seek to advance diversity and inclusivity in the local markets.

When not helping her clients or aiding in the Firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives, Rebecca enjoys gardening, traveling, exercising, cooking and mentoring. She is extremely active in her local community and volunteers at the Morristown New Jersey Soup Kitchen; and supports Youth Consultation Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged children with mentoring and companionship.
A graduate of Rutgers University, Rebecca resides in Chester, New Jersey, with her husband and two children.

      Reacting emotionally to market uncertainty can often lead to poor investment decisions, revoking years of thoughtful planning.  My wealth management process provides a framework aim at reducing the emotional pitfalls that could derail a carefully structured financial plan, by directing how you move forward and highlighting the effectiveness of your strategy over time.

      DISCOVERY:  My relationship with you begins with a thorough understanding of your needs, priorities, lifestyle and goals for the future.  Together, we will evaluate your personal and financial statements, liabilities, investments, retirement assets, insurance policies, beneficiary designations, employer holdings, benefit programs and taxes. 

      CREATE: With an understanding of what keeps you up at night, I develop a goals-based roadmap to help achieve the outcomes you seek.

      ACT:  I will help you implement the strategies we formulate together to address your concerns around your liquidity needs.  I will implement your investments allocations based upon your personal & financial risks, by selecting investment management organizations with superior histories of performance, style consistency and organizational excellence.  I will work with you to determine the type and amount of life insurance solution that is appropriate for your needs. If you have your estate planning documents, we will periodically revisit with your attorney to make sure it continues to reflect your intentions.  If you do not have your estate planning documents or an attorney, I will introduce you to one, who will work with you to protect your assets during your lifetime and your beneficiaries afterwards.  

      ADJUST:

      Achieving your goals requires vigilance and flexibility.  I will meet with you periodically to review your financial plan, as well as monitor your portfolio performance; recommending timely adjustments as your life evolve, your priorities change markets and tax law shifts.
