My Story and Services

Ray Garnica is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management where he provides retirement and wealth accumulation investment advice to domestic and international clients.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was a Director, Investment Specialist with Standard Chartered Bank.  In this position, he had investment management responsibility for close to $2 Billion of clients’ assets.  Prior to Standard Chartered Bank, he was a Vice President, Regional Manager of Bank of the West’s Wealth Management Division in San Diego, California.  He has held leadership positions at Northern Trust Bank, Coutts (USA) International, and Rockwell International.

Mr. Garnica attended the University of Southern California where he received an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and a graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA).  He was a trustee of the San Diego City Employee Retirement System (SDCERS).  He was a former Board Member and Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Corporate Directors Forum and was a member of Mainly Mozart's Business Task Force.  He currently resides in Rancho Peñasquitos with his wife.
