Our Process

A quality financial plan is designed to help increase the quality of your life by reducing the unknown of future needs and resources. Financial planning is the process of managing your money and your personal economy. We make a lot of decisions daily some are short term in nature and others are long term which can have negative consequences. The financial planning process requires 4 steps:
    Icon Image
    Step 1- Understanding You
This is a critical step to establishing a relationship with you. We want to understand what you value in an advisor client relationship. Then we will spend time understanding your current financial situations and your financial goals.
    Icon Image
    Step 2- Your Goals
The purpose of this step is to determine your needs and wants. Your goals can range from funding college, having enough for retirement, transfer of wealth, buying a home or developing an investment program to increase financial security.
    Icon Image
    Step 3- Implementation
In this step, we will implement the plan but first we will understand your time frame, your risk tolerance and we will provide the recommendation for the plan. Furthermore, we will provide clear communication and expectations for the plan.

    Step 4 – Ongoing Review
We believe that financial planning is living and breathing process. Your goals and financial situation may change. We want to be tactical by reviewing your plan on a timely basis to account for this and make adjustments where necessary.

Securing Your Future with a Family Wealth Director

Family Wealth Direcors have a unique understanding of the estate planning process entails. Achieving the Family Wealth Director designation is a rigorous process that requires a number of standards to be met in order to be considered. Ultimately, less than 3% of financial advisors achieve this title, and under the guidance of my trusted team, you can feel a sense of relief knowing that we dedicate our practice to safeguarding what's most important to you:

Family Governance and Wealth Education

  • The most difficult wealth planning challenge many ultra-high net worth families face is not the management of their financial capital, but the management of their human capital. By helping you articulate and preserve your deeply held values, we enable you to maximize the value of your human capital and create an enduring family legacy.

Multigenerational & Estate Planning Strategies

  • When the time comes, you may want to transfer your assets to your loved ones. It can be difficult to decide which financial products are right for you, based on your unique financial needs and risk tolerance. It can be even more difficult to ensure that these policies are updated to incorporate major changes in your family, such as: children, marriage, death, and divorce. Ultimately, multigenerational planning with a family wealth director allows you to ensure the safety of your family and assets without the stress of constantly adjusting to changing circumstances and laws.

Business Succession Planning

  • Your business should deserves strategies in place to safeguard the legacy of all your hard work throughout the years. Let's work together to ensure you're prepared for any potential changes to the business environment and equip your successors to seamlessly transition into their future roles.

Charitable Giving & Philanthropy

  • Achieve your financial goals while maintaining your environmental, social and governance ideals. While making investments with impact can seem daunting, there are several ways to implement investments that benefit you and the world around you.

Life Insurance

  • Life insurance may be a powerful tool for investors when applied in context of other strategic decisions. It's prudent for investors to consider life insurance with their overall wealth and trust, tax and estate plans so that the features of life insurance may be complementary to other decisions taken. We are positioned to reliably and effectively manage your life insurance policy in light of changing market and personal conditions.

Legacy planning and intergenerational wealth transfer

  • Intergenerational wealth transfers may reduce or eliminate estate taxes by not only getting assets out of the first generation's future estate through gifting, but also by funding the purchase of insurance to provide a death benefit to pay estate taxes, if any. It is critical for the insurance policy to be excluded from the estate so that the death benefit will not be included in the first generation's estate and therefore will not be subject to estate tax.

Estate equalization

  • Estate equalization using insurance may be appropriate for blended families, or in situations when a family has assets that are meant to benefit a specific individual but, in doing so, would disinherit one or more of the beneficiaries of the estate.
  • For example, one child runs the family business that compromises the majority of the parent's estates and the other children are not active in the business and have no interest in participating. Another example, includes proceeds from a life policy are left to the children of a prior marriage to ensure that those children don't have to wait for the surviving step-parent to pass in order to receive their inheritance.
