My Story and Services

Phil has worked in financial services for over 25 years spanning 19 years at UBS before taking his position at Morgan Stanley in 2017. He graduated from Connecticut College in 1997 where he rowed on the varsity heavyweight crew. Before moving back to the United States to start his career in financial services at UBS he spent time working in Tech/Telecom distribution serving southern Europe based in Munich, Germany.

At Morgan Stanley, Phil focuses on long term wealth planning and provides portfolio management services specializing in equity covered call writing and fixed income. His client base consists of entrepreneurs, executives and their families. Phil supports various non-profits and charities ranging from ballet and classical music to classic boats.

Phil lives in Rye, NY with his family. Away from the office, Phil enjoys skiing and cycling, is an avid fisherman and sails classic yachts with friends.

Robert Smithline is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Political Science. Robert was a member of Penn’s varsity tennis team for four years. He was also a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Robert is attracted to a career in wealth management as he feels that he can help people make impactful decisions as to the management of their wealth while forming lasting relationships with them through the process.

Robert interests include investing, business, travel, music and sports.

Ronia Dolabany is an Associate Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in New York.

Associate Private Bankers partner with Private Bankers and Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Ronia joined Morgan Stanley in 2021 as a Wealth Management Branch Analyst serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in the Philadelphia Complex.

Ronia is a graduate of the Hofstra University, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Finance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Global Business from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics.

She lives in New York City, New York. Outside of the office, Ronia volunteers with Bridges to Community, Glasswing International, and Frutos Del Cielo, all non-profit organizations focused on improving health, education, housing, and economic development for communities globally. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, cooking and trying new restaurants. Ronia also enjoys playing tennis, and was the Captain of Hofstra University’s Division 1 Women’s Tennis Team.
