What are your goals?
Some people go through life knowing exactly what they want and have a clear plan for how they are going to make it happen. In my experience, this is the exception rather than the rule.
Much more common is a vague sense that "I want my family to be okay." or "I want to be sure I don't run out of money.". These are valid Sentiments and form a viable framework for an investment plan, but they are not defined goals.
It is crucial to identify and clearly articulate specific goals, so we can mitigate your investment risk. By defining specific goals, we can invest for the desired return without incurring undue risk.

• Leave a multi-generational legacy for my family. Do you have an estate plan?
• Give a meaningful gift to a charity that is significant to me. What do you hope to accomplish?
In each case, we can estimate a required dollar figure and a proposed timeframe. When that is established, we can look at variations and their impacts.
