Phil Palazzolo is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Senior Portfolio Manager, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. He provides comprehensive wealth management advice to high net worth and ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals, family offices, business owners, and multi-generational families nationwide.

With more than two decades at Morgan Stanley, Phil has extensive experience designing and implementing customized investment strategies tailored to each client’s financial goals, risk profile, and long-term legacy objectives. He has been a member of The Stickler/Palazzolo Group since shortly after joining the firm in 2001 and plays a key role in delivering disciplined portfolio management and holistic financial planning solutions.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner, Phil has met rigorous education, examination, experience, and ethical standards. He is committed to adhering to the CFP® Board’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct and places a strong emphasis on continued education to remain current with evolving tax legislation and financial planning strategies.

Phil earned his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, holds an Associate degree in Business Administration, and completed the Financial Planning Certificate graduate program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a Registered Representative with FINRA/NYSE and a Registered Investment Adviser Agent.

Outside of his professional practice, Phil enjoys spending time with his family in the New Jersey area, playing guitar, and continually expanding his knowledge in health and wellness, technology, and personal development. He is actively involved in serving at his local church and values community, faith, and lifelong learning as essential parts of both his personal and professional life.

About Mary Beth Powers

Mary Beth Powers is Executive Director and Trust Specialist for Morgan Stanley covering the New York Metro region, responsible for presenting Morgan Stanley’s third-party trustee partner platform to Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Financial Advisors, clients and prospects. Leveraging the capabilities of our trust company partners, Mary Beth assists to identify appropriate fiduciary solutions, which are essential to the management, preservation and transfer of accumulated wealth. This process includes coordination with the client’s financial, legal and tax advisors to ensure proper trust planning implementation.

Mary Beth has worked in the trust and estate services industry for over thirty years, primarily handling trust new business opportunities. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Mary Beth spent ten years as a senior vice president and regional trust specialist with Citigroup Trust in NYC.

Mary Beth received a Bachelor of Science from Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey and is Series 7 and 63 licensed. She resides with her husband and family in Blauvelt, New York.

About Mark Jansen

Mark Jansen is a Family Office Resources Generalist for Morgan Stanley’s Family Office Resources, covering the Southeast Region. In this capacity, Mark provides specialized expertise to Financial Advisors and their UHNW clients across a broad range of family wealth management issues including; family governance and wealth education, strategic estate and financial planning, philanthropy management and lifestyle advisory. Mark has over 30 years of experience advising wealthy families, business owners, and their children.

Most recently, Mark worked with New York Life in their Advanced Planning Group working with agents and their UHNW clients advising them on estate and legacy planning, business buy sell planning, and succession planning. Prior to New York Life, Mark held similar Advanced Planning Consulting roles in several National financial organizations. He originally started his career in the financial services industry in the tax department of the public accounting firm Grant Thornton. He is known for taking complex ideas and making them easy to understand. Frequently speaking to groups and individuals on estate and business planning, he brings a conversational style that helps to clarify the complex nature of these topics.

Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University in Collegeville MN, received his JD degree Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota and his CPA license while working at Grant Thornton. He holds a Series 7, 24 and 63 securities licenses. He currently lives in Richmond Virginia with his wife and occasionally one of their 6 children.
