Peter's passion for finance began at 20 when he opened his first brokerage account, leading to a successful career in investing. He honed his analytical skills at West Point, where he excelled in mathematics and joined the Mathematics Honor Society. After graduation, Peter served as an executive finance officer in the U.S. Army, managing significant financial resources in challenging environments, including managing over $70 million in Baghdad, Iraq. These experiences shaped his disciplined and strategic approach to finance.
A key moment in Peter's career was his encounter with unethical financial advisors during his military service, which motivated him to become a financial advisor committed to transparency and ethical practices. In 2007, he joined Morgan Stanley (then Smith Barney), drawn by its reputation for excellence. Peter's approach is deeply personal, focusing on understanding clients' financial situations to provide proactive management and peace of mind.
Outside of work, Peter is an accomplished golfer, competing in events such as the U.S. Open Final Qualifying and the USGA Mid-Amateur National Championship. He is also dedicated to community service, having held leadership roles in organizations such as the Kiwanis Club, Team Red, White, and Blue, and the Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Organization. Peter's commitment to serving others extends to his professional life, where he aligns his interests with those of his clients, offering more than just financial advice but a partnership in achieving their goals.
