We begin with an in-depth conversation where we listen carefully to understand what is important to you, your family and your legacy. We learn about the values that shape your decisions and identify any challenges and circumstances unique to your personal situation.

Next, we review your current and future financial situation, identify any potential shortfalls and discuss the impact of unexpected life events. In this step, we may also reach out to your CPA and estate attorney to understand your existing tax and estate plans so we can coordinate our strategies into one cohesive plan.

Plan Development
Here, we prepare a comprehensive wealth management plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. We utilize proprietary financial planning tools to develop a personalized strategy that not only includes investment and asset allocation recommendations, but incorporates important risk management strategies, as well as estate, trust and philanthropic solutions.

Presentation and Implementation
In this step, we present your tailored plan in detail and explain why we are recommending each strategy. We discuss the pros and cons for each solution, refining your plan based on our discussions. Once approved by you, we begin to implement the strategies together. We believe in full transparency and will keep you involved in each step.

        About Me

        As founder of the Perrone Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley, Tom is the visionary of the group and primarily responsible for the oversight of client relationships and investment management. He focuses on working with individuals and businesses to help them achieve their financial goals.

         Tom has been in the financial services industry since 1993 and has worked at Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms since 2000. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Tom was a financial advisor at Hilliard Lyons. He has completed the Series 7, 63 and 65 examinations, and he holds life and health insurance licenses in several states. He received the Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM (CRPS®) designation in 2011 and Corporate Retirement Director in 2014.
         
        A native of Louisville, Tom graduated from St. Xavier High School and the University of Kentucky.  Tom is actively involved in the community. He currently serves on the board of directors of Community Catholic Center and Kids Cancer Alliance.

        Tom and his wife Shelley have four children — Victor, Emily, William and Maggie. Tom is an avid runner and has enjoyed competing in marathons throughout the country, including five New York City Marathons and three Boston Marathons.

        About Me

        Will is a Financial Advisor for the Perrone Wealth Management Group, where he focuses on investment management and works with individuals to manage their overall portfolio. He joined Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms in 2009. He has completed the Series 7 and 66 examinations and holds life and health insurance licenses in several states.

         
        Prior to joining the firm, Will played 13 seasons in the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers, appearing in three Super Bowls and three Pro Bowls. He served as a color analyst for the Indianapolis Colts Radio Network until 2013. From 2002-2008, he cohosted the local Bob and Will radio show with Bob Valvano.

        Will was born and raised in Louisville.  As a graduate of St. Xavier High School, Will maintains an active presence in the Louisville community. 
        Will is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and currently serves on the board of the Louisville Metro Police Foundation.  He his wife Jude have three daughters — Grace, Lauren and Bridget.

        Brett is a Certified Financial Planner™ with the Perrone Wealth Management Group.  His primary focus is on Financial Planning, investment management, equity and fixed income research and portfolio analysis.  Brett has worked with the Perrone Group since 2006 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Dayton in 2001.  While at University of Dayton, Brett competed as a member of the Dayton Flyer football team.  He is a native of Dayton, OH and has strong ties to the Miami Valley.

        Brett and his wife Megan have three daughters Tatum, Marin, and Larkin. He enjoys golf, exercising and spending time with family and friends.

        Todd is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional with the Perrone Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley. His primary focus is comprehensive financial planning, including retirement, estate, education and asset allocation strategies.

        Todd has worked at Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms since 2002. Before joining Morgan Stanley, he was a financial advisor with UBS Paine Webber, beginning his career in the financial services industry in 1993. He has obtained his Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses, as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation. He also maintains life and health insurance licenses in several states and is a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator.

        A native of Glasgow, KY and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, Todd maintains strong connections to the South Central Kentucky area. 
         
        Todd and his wife Anna have a son, Cole. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, time at their lake house, and attending sporting events.

        Heather has been an integral member of the Perrone Wealth Management Group since 2005.  Managing the administrative and operational activities of the group, she works to improve and implement procedures that benefit clients and enhance their experience. Her primary focus is client service and management of day-to-day operations.

        Heather joined the firm in 1999 and has completed the Series 7, 63 and 66 examinations. She and her husband Shawn have three children - Kamari, Riley and Reece. Born and raised in Louisville, Heather enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends and serving as treasurer on the Christian Academy of Louisville Southwest PTO board.

        About Me

        Joining the Perrone Wealth Management Group in October 2013, Ed has a diverse financial background.  Hired by First Security National Bank & Trust after graduation, he spent several years as a Private Banker.  He was a bank President and Director of Bank of Harlan for nearly two decades and worked in the Finance Department of the Keeneland Association Inc.

        Ed has a unique understanding of cash and fixed income management and is responsible for administration of the Group's investment models and much of the day-to-day trading.

        A native of Lexington, Ed maintains strong ties to his community.  He received his degree in Business Administration Finance from the University of Kentucky.  

        Ed has completed the Series 7 and 66 exams and has both his life, health and long-term care insurance licenses in several states.  Ed and his wife Racheal have four children Richard, Laura, Meredith and Madison.  

        About Me

        The newest member of the Perrone Wealth Managment team, Amy, joined the group in 2015.  Her primary focus is operations and day-to-day activities.  She works closely with Heather to improve procedures and enhance the client experience.

        A native of Louisville, Amy graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in Marketing and a background in project and client management. Amy has a daughter, Alyssa.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends and volunteering with local programs including Special Olympics and CSAA elementary school sports.
