I run my business as a Morgan Stanley Family Wealth Director the same way I did my ship in the Navy. My role on the bridge was to keep a billon dollar ship and her crew on course and safe from harm.

Today, I advise on the billion dollar wealth of my combined clients and I report to them on the progress they are making in achieving their life goals. Critical aspects of my former work were strong communication, situational awareness, and the ability to manage numerous complex ship ‘evolutions’ at the same time. These same capabilities are critically important when you seek an experienced advisor to trust guide you, put your interests first and lead on complex wealth questions when working with their legal and tax experts.

My Clients and Process

I work with successful individuals and their families who are mostly made up of senior executives and business owners. It is very normal for my clients to have worked closely with my team and me for 15-20 years where we have helped them and their families achieve their goals.
 
As a client of ours, we start by reviewing your financial and lifestyle goals, look at your balance sheet, and then complete a tailored action plan. With your plan, we set out to complete all of the activities needed to move you toward your goals with detailed quarterly discussions on what needs to be done. 
 
This continues over the years as our relationship with you grows.

    Educaton and Experience

    I attended the Royal Military College of Canada graduating with a BA Honors and went on to serve as a Naval Officer. I joined MS in 1997 after serving as a Naval Officer for 10 years. I quickly found success in working with senior executives of public companies as an integral part of a stock plan services team. Since joining Morgan Stanley, I have received my Certified Equity Professional Level 1 from Santa Clara University and graduated from the yearlong MS Family Wealth Director program.
