About Me

I have a tremendous passion for business, economics and the financial markets. What I enjoy most is taking my passion and providing real value-added advice to my clients. Spending over 10+ years working in Mergers & Acquisitions, and completing 30+ transactions gives me a unique perspective that I am able to leverage for my Business Clients.

When I am not spending time with clients I try to spend with my family. My wife Becky, son Mike, and daughter Katie spend most of our free time at our lake home on Big Sand near Park Rapids, Minnesota.
I love to fish, play golf, tennis, and racquetball. If there is a ball I can chase, generally I enjoy doing it.

What Sets Us Apart

Prior to my current role as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, I spent over 10 years of my career completing Mergers & Acquisitions, most recently with a publicly-traded Holding Company. I have worked with businesses my entire career, and that is exactly what my team and I do at Morgan Stanley.

My past experience gives me unique perceptive for our Corporate clients and specifically those that are Employee-Owned (ESOP). Not only do we need to understand how to develop the appropriate Funding & Investment Strategy for clients but equally important we need to understand the clients current financial condition, their growth strategy, their liquidity needs, and their ability to meet future off-balance sheet liabilities.

We have a variety of tools and solutions that can assist you, not only with your Investment Strategy but developing a plan for your future Repurchase Obligations. I believe we can be a valuable resource to ESOPs because I have vast valuation experience, but more importantly I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that ESOPs face over their lifecycle from inception to becoming a mature ESOP.

Whether you plan to grow organically, through acquisition or you face significant Repurchase Obligations...through a combination of our analysis we can develop a comprehensive Funding & Investment Strategy that will help ensure the Company & ESOP will meet its future liquidity needs.

Finally, I am a member of the ESOP Association, NCEO, and ESCA. It is important my team and I that we are active participants in the ESOP community.
