My Bio

Patrick Lenahan is a Vice President, Financial Advisor, Financial Planning Specialist, and Portfolio Manager. He has more than 30 years of experience in finance and has been with Morgan Stanley since 1995.

Pat was born into the business and followed in his father’s footsteps as a Financial Advisor. He knew at a young age that this industry was for him—most of his summer jobs and internships were at brokerage firms. He and his father eventually partnered and worked as a team until Pat Sr. retired in 2023.

Pat helps clients accumulate, preserve, and transfer wealth. He provides thoughtful advice and attentive service while always looking out for his clients’ best interests. His disciplined approach to investing guides his buy and sell decisions. Pat’s guiding principle has always been: “Wall Street Experience with Main Street Values.”

Pat attended Bentley College and King’s College. He holds Series 7, Series 65, Series 63, and Series 31 licenses, as well as state insurance and mortgage licenses, and has earned Morgan Stanley’s Financial Planning Specialist designation.

When he is not working, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and daughter, Aislin. Together, they love traveling, discovering new restaurants, and experiencing different cuisines. Pat is also an avid golfer who enjoys outdoor activities and being actively involved in his community.

11Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan's investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan's flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan's investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state's own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state's tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
