Patricia Reyes is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Portfolio Management Director with The Tree Point Group at Morgan Stanley. She brings over 20+ years of industry experience to her clients’ financial lives, helping them and their families overcome the obstacles standing between them and their long-term goals.
A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Patricia began her career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in 2000. In 2002, she joined Fifth Third Securities as an Investment Executive. During her tenure there, she met team member Josh Dunn in 2013. In 2021, she brought the team to Morgan Stanley, a firm that provides world-class technology, investment platforms, and research capabilities needed to help clients continue to thrive for decades to come.
With her team, Patricia places a special emphasis on creating and maintaining an exceptional client experience defined by communication, transparency, and unwavering commitment. She believes financial confidence is about far more than performance numbers. Just as important is having a trusted guide through life’s transitions, someone to help organize complexity, provide clarity, and bring structure to a client’s full financial picture. Each day, she strives to go above and beyond for her clients, whether coordinating with their professional network, helping them pass on their financial values to the next generation, or integrating all aspects of their legacy into a cohesive plan.
Patricia has a particular passion for working with women and helping them take ownership of their financial future. As she often emphasizes, women today are living longer than ever, yet financial decision-making has historically been concentrated in the hands of their partners or spouses. She is committed to changing that narrative by empowering women with the knowledge, structure, and confidence to actively engage in and lead their financial lives.
In addition to her professional work, Patricia is the cofounder of Chicago HER Way, part of a broader Morgan Stanley initiative focused on empowering women across the Chicagoland area through financial education and community. Chicago HER Way brings women together through educational events, networking opportunities, and social gatherings designed to strengthen confidence, build relationships, and enhance both careers and friendships. The program reflects Patricia’s core belief that financial literacy and community are deeply connected and that women thrive when they are supported, informed, and connected to one another.
Originally inspired by the HER Way initiative launched within Morgan Stanley’s New York office, Patricia has helped bring this mission to Chicago with a local focus on health and wellness, personal finance, professional development, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
Outside of the office, Patricia lives in Chicago with her husband Jim and their daughter Abby. A world traveler, she counts Tokyo, Egypt, and Barcelona among her favorite destinations, with a family trip through Italy visiting Venice, Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast standing out as a favorite. She also enjoys staying active in her local community, whether on weekend bike rides around the city or early morning neighborhood runs. Patricia is committed to giving back through her volunteer work with Inspiration Corp, a nonprofit supporting Chicagoans impacted by poverty and homelessness. An avid cook, she especially enjoys preparing Filipino dishes, sharing her heritage with her daughter through food and tradition.
