We help clients identify their financial goals, assess their risk tolerance, develop a customized asset allocation, select appropriate investments, monitor and rebalance their portfolios as needed.  We employ a holistic, goals based approach that takes into account wealth accumulation, retirement planning, wealth distribution, insurance planning, trust and estate planning and wealth transfer.  We utilize the vast resources and capabilities available to us at Morgan Stanley including: open architecture traditional and alternative investment platforms, LifeView financial planning software, Private Bank and lending platform.Importantly, we aim to prevent clients from making investment mistakes and harmful financial decisions that tend to lower the probability of achieving their goals. We engage in comprehensive reviews to update clients on the progress toward their goals.  We adjust asset allocations based on clients’ changing needs and to take into account market movements and valuation.  We provide full disclosure and transparency as it relates to costs and fees.  Our practice is extremely client focused.  We service clients both pro-actively and are quick to react to attend to all client needs and requests.  We act as a conduit to clients’ accountants, attorneys and other key advisors.  We strive to build relationships with the next generation of our clients and help them with important financial decisions that they face.

Experience has shown us that investors often take more risk than they need to in order to accomplish their goals.  Having been in the the financial advisory and investment arena since the mid 1980’s, including extensive institutional and private client experience, we have experienced numerous market cycles; bull markets, flat markets and crashes.  This experience has led us to develop a tremendous amount of respect for risk.  As a result we always try to think about what can go wrong, in addition to where the next opportunity may be.  We do not believe that complicated, opaque investment structures are necessarily in our clients’ best interest but rather that in most cases, simple is better.

David’s skills help greatly in investment strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management. David graduated from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics. He is a former President and Director of the Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund. He lives in Chappaqua, New York with his wife Julie and his children Jessica, Rebecca and Justin.

    Kevin takes pride in the high quality, personalized service he has provided clients since beginning his career at Merrill Lynch in 1996. He has earned his series 7 and 66 licenses. Kevin joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney with Alan Gladstone in 2006 and played an instrumental role in transitioning client accounts. he received his BA from the State University of New York at Albany before serving in the US Army for four years. Kevin is married with one child and lives in Port Chester, NY.
