About Amanda S. Burnett

Amanda S. Burnett is a First Vice President, Senior Institutional Consultant, Insurance Planning Director, and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining the Financial Services industry in 2011, Amanda had a brief but successful career in the golf industry working and playing at various clubs in South Florida and the Northeast. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Amanda moved to Florida in 2004 to attend Lynn University. She graduated with honors, magna cum laude, earning a degree in Hospitality Management while playing on the Division II Women’s Golf Team.

Amanda joined Morgan Stanley in 2012 and in 2016, was named to the Firm’s Pacesetters Club, a global recognition program for Financial Advisors who, within their first five years, demonstrate the highest professional standards and first class client service. Throughout her career at Morgan Stanley, Amanda continues to utilizes her Hospitality Degree to prioritize and personalize each client with the highest level of customer service. She focuses on retirement planning while incorporating insurance and annuity needs.

In 2023 & 2024, Amanda was named to a prestigious list of Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors by Forbes. This ranking is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively, a major component of a ranking algorithm that includes client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, and quantitative criteria, including assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.

She resides in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband and two children. Amanda carries FINRA Series 7, and 66 securities licenses, as well as State of Florida Life Insurance and Variable Annuity agent licenses.

Julia Yue Shen is a First Vice President & International Client Advisor. She has worked at Morgan Stanley for almost a decade and leads the investment management process of the Palm Beach International Group. Julia was born and raised in Nanjing, China, and came to the US when she was 18 years old to attend Brown University. She resides in Palm Beach, Florida with her husband and two boys.
