About VR Raman

VR Raman received a BS in Industrial Administration from Kettering University in Flint, Michigan in 1985. He began his career in private wealth management with Prudential Securities as a Financial Advisor and was promoted to Branch Sales Manager within a few years. VR joined UBS in 1998 where he held multiple management roles including Branch Manager and Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest.

In 2010, VR continued his career with Morgan Stanley, and in 2014 was named a Market Executive in San Diego, California. In 2018 he welcomed his first grandchild which prompted a move back home to Downers Grove, IL.
VR ensures Financial Advisors are equipped with the resources they need to grow their business. As the Market Executive of Chicago West, VR is intentional in connecting the resources of the firm to the needs of the clients through their financial advisors. VR is also intentional in helping advisors pass on their legacy to future generations with the clients’ needs at the center. VR and his team understand that they may be the topic of conversation at the dinner table of the people they are fortunate to work with. With that in mind, they work hard to make sure they deliver our first-class firm in a first class way.

VR resides in Downers Grove, IL with his wife Sree. His children and grandchildren live in the west suburbs. In his free time, VR enjoys travelling and watching his grandchildren grow. He feels privileged to have them close by. VR is also involved in a global charity that helps feeds people and brings medical services to underprivileged communities in India.

About Haley Patel

As the Senior Market Administrator for the Chicago West Market, Haley ensures her Financial Advisors have the resources and support to grow their businesses, as well as navigate the Firm’s robust systems.

She handles a variety of responsibilities, including onboarding new hires and coordinating technology rollouts to expense/facility management. Haley takes pride in simplifying the lives of Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates so they can better serve their clients. If she doesn’t know the answer to a question, she will connect you to someone who does.

Haley graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2019 with a B.S. degree in Bioengineering. She worked as a Technical Sales Engineer for Eaton for two years before joining Morgan Stanley.

In her free time, Haley enjoys strength training, yoga, travelling and learning about different cultures. She’s also currently practicing her fourth language (Spanish).

About Anne Baniewicz

Anne has worked in the financial services industry for many years in a variety of roles from support professional to management. As Senior Risk Officer, she guides a team of risk professionals that provide guidance on firm policies, surveillance of various activities to ensure adherence to regulations and management of all aspects of risk in the market. This includes helping Financial Advisors succeed while also helping them stay within the Firm and regulatory guidelines.

Throughout her career, Anne has contributed to several councils and participated in mentoring. She has served as a member on the National Risk Officer Council, served as Senior Advisor to multiple regional committees, and is a member of the Chicago West Market Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Anne, her husband and their mini Goldendoodle live in the Chicago area suburbs. Anne enjoys runs, walks with her dog, travel, golf, gardening and baking—especially in the colder months.

About Molly Rohrer

In her role as Associate Market Manager for the Chicago West Market, Molly works closely with Financial Advisors and advisory teams to grow their assets and revenues, while promoting a standard of care that enhances the client experience and helps build strong relationships.

A seasoned professional with more than 20 years of industry experience, Molly began her career in 2001 as an analyst for UBS Global Asset Management in New York City. In 2010, she became a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 as a Producing Branch Manager at the Fargo, ND branch. In 2023, she accepted a new role at Morgan Stanley as the Business Development Manager for Chicago West and North markets.

Molly graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She currently resides in Burr Ridge with her husband, son and two dogs. Molly serves on the Board of Directors for the Brookfield Zoo Chicago.

About Kevin Machonis

As the Business Development Manager for the Chicago West and Chicago North Markets, Kevin works with Financial Advisors to bring all the resources the Firm has to offer to their practice.
Kevin began his career with Merrill Lynch, and continued to JP Morgan Chase where he held several different positions from service to sales management. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2023 as a Business Service Officer in the Chicago West Market where he was responsible for overseeing Client Service Associates.
Kevin graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Organizational Management and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. He was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, and currently resides in the northwest suburbs with his wife, Alexis, and their two children. In his free time, Kevin enjoys golfing and coaching his kid’s T ball team.
