    About Me

    Jeff O'Neill
    Senior Vice President

    Jeff and his team develop customized wealth management solutions to an exceptional group of highly accomplished executives, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and others.  Jeff is a senior vice president, private wealth advisor, alternative investments director and holds the designation of family wealth director, a title held by fewer than 3% of Morgan Stanley Advisors.  He has extensive experience in investment management and portfolio construction, alternative investments, corporate equity solutions & risk management (including 10b5-1 programs, concentrated/restricted stock, and hedging strategies), business succession planning, trust & estates planning, lending, family governance and wealth education. 

    Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jeff was as a director in Credit Suisse’s U.S. Private Banking division from 2010-2015. He had previously been a principal and director at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, a unit of AllianceBernstein L.P., where he served as the head of Bernstein’s Private Client practice in the San Diego region from 2006-2009. Jeff joined Sanford C. Bernstein & Company in New York in 1999. Earlier in his career, Jeff was the founder and CEO of the Redstone Group LLC, a real estate investment and advisory firm based in New York City.

    He holds a B.S. degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA in from Columbia Business School.

    Within the community, Jeff serves as a member of the finance committee for La Jolla Country Day School.  He and his wife Kathryn live in Rancho Santa Fe with their daughter, Marcelle.

    Andy Jones has provided investment advice to high-net-worth individuals, families and non-profits for over 16 years. Andy focuses on developing, implementing and monitoring customized financial strategies designed to meet the unique objectives of each client. He is experienced in multiple wealth management disciplines, including investment management, trust and estate planning services, corporate executive services and monetization strategies, customized credit and lending, and tax minimization.

    Alissa Wadell is responsible for developing customized financial plans and asset allocations proposals and assists in all aspects of the investment due diligence process, including but not limited to, performance reporting, manager searches and investment policy compliance.  She has experience working with private clients, corporations, retirement plans, foundations, government entities and non-profits.

    Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Alissa worked for Wells Fargo Advisors for 10 years.  Alissa is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional, and she received a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California San Diego.  Alissa is currently enrolled in the MBA program at National University

    Tom Hoang is responsible for processing new account documentation, preparing financial analyses, client reporting and handling day to day client requests.  He joined Morgan Stanley in 2014, supporting a San Francisco-based Private Wealth Management team, before moving to San Diego to join the O'Neill Jones Group.  Tom graduated from San Diego State University and holds a B.S. in Business with an emphasis on accounting.
