    • Barbara Yee was invited to attend the 2015 Barron’s Winner’s Circle Top 100 Women Financial Advisor Summit and she was a member of the 2015 President’s Council and had been nominated for the Global Circle of Excellence with her prior firm.In addition to being an award recipient, Barbara was one of approximately 550 financial advisors who were selected by their firms to attend the ninth annual Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summit, hosted by Barron’s magazine to promote best practices in the industry and the value of advice to the investing public.

      The invitation-only conference was held at The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL from December 3rd to 5th. The exclusive conference was designed to promote best practices and generate new ideas across the industry.

      Participants attended workshops, led by the Top 100 Women Financial Advisors, which explored current issues ranging from business development ideas through managing high-net-worth accounts and families to portfolio management and retirement planning.

    About Me

    Barbara Yee, is a successful and caring Senior Vice President of Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley, a Portfolio Management Director and International Client Advisor, has been providing clients with advice on wealth planning with a focus on wealth accumulation, legacy planning, and wealth transfer over the past 20 years.

    Currently as she manages investment assets for personal wealth, trusts and private foundations, with stocks, bonds, municipal bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, hedge funds, private equities,  structured products, many other alternative investments, annuities and other insurance products. With help from a warm and professional, she also builds a team of money managers to execute her strategies and achieve clients’ financial goals. Barbara has been awarded the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist SM (CRPS®) professional designations. In addition to those exceptional titles, she also holds life, annuity, long-term care and disability insurance licenses.

    Prior to this role, Barbara helped manage a $270Bn portfolio whom she worked as a senior member of the portfolio management team for a major financial institution. Her strong and well-rounded academic background also provides her an ideal foundation for her work as a financial advisor. She earned M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union, and her M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

    About Me

    As a Financial Advisor, Singman Siu provides advice on how to structure, develop, and implement clients’ plans using a wide array of resources and financial products available at Morgan Stanley. He focuses on providing customized solutions and financial advice in the areas of trusts and estates, tying together aspects of clients’ financial and personal life objectives. Singman’s strength lies in his ability to listen to his clients’ needs and implement a personalized, disciplined strategy.

    Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Singman had been in gas and oil trading since 2002. Before that he was a senior engineer for the utility and consulting firms for many years. Later on as a senior financial analyst, he was responsible for risk management, evaluating the physical assets of companies, and trading natural gas.

    Singman earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cooper Union, M.S. from Columbia University and J.D. from New York Law School. He is a registered Professional Engineer and has admitted to the New York Bar. Singman is married with two children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding cooking and collecting books.

    About Me

    Shirley Chan started with the firm in Operations and soon transitioned to a role as sales assistant where she earned her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses in 2003.

    Today she has 19 years of experience working in the financial securities industry. In her current role as Senior Registered Associate her primary responsibilities consist of assisting clients with their daily financial needs including money movement, trading, credit analysis, technology support and onboarding.

    In her spare time, Shirley enjoys listening to music, working on DIY projects, and travelling.
