Our Team at Morgan Stanley Norwell Branch

About Anna Hight

Anna Hight is the Market Manager overseeing Norwell and Hyannis, Massachusetts. She has been with Morgan Stanley since 2006, working directly with Advisors, support professionals, and clients. Anna has built a career centered on a “People First, Business Always” philosophy, focused on empowering wealth management teams so they can focus on serving clients, growing successful practices, and building legacies. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to leadership and thrives on building long-term, collaborative relationships with advisors and their teams, serving as an advocate, strategist and problem-solver.

In her nearly two decades at Morgan Stanley, Anna has had the privilege of collaborating with Advisors who serve a wide range of clients, including public and private corporations, family offices, foundations and endowments, venture capital firms, small businesses, senior corporate executives, and families ranging from mass affluent to ultra-high net worth. Due to this experience, Anna has a unique depth of institutional knowledge at Morgan Stanley, making her a powerful advocate for Advisors and clients. In her current role, her daily aim is to help advisors remove obstacles, unearth opportunities, and leverage Morgan Stanley’s comprehensive platform to deepen client relationships and grow their businesses. She is proud to support a wealth management culture where no two practices identical, and where diversity of thought and entrepreneurial spirits are celebrated. As a key partner in talent acquisition for Morgan Stanley, Anna works to connect with top advisors in her market, helping them to explore the Firm’s extensive capabilities while embracing and celebrating their own unique visions. She is also passionate about serving her community, particularly on ending food insecurity, conserving local ecosystems, and elevating girls and women in STEM.

Anna grew up splitting her time between Long Island, New York, and southwestern Ohio. She attended State University of New York at Stony Brook as well as Ohio University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Anna lives in Milton, Massachusetts, with her husband, Bryan, and their son, Gunnar. As someone who loves the outdoors and prioritizes daily movement, Anna can often be found running or hiking in Blue Hills Reservation or swimming laps in the pool. When they aren’t attending Gunnar’s soccer practices and games, the family enjoys traveling, attending professional sports events, and doing anything on or near the ocean. They are also involved in animal rescue and share their home with Axel, a rescued Belgian Malinois and Mr. Meowgi, a lazy orange cat from the Humane Society.

6The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of sustainable investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because sustainability criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
