My Story and Services

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner and a Certified Investment Management Analyst® Advisor, I offer my clients a sophisticated level of financial advice and investment management knowledge. My tailored recommendations are designed to help achieve my clients’ objectives with a prudent, risk-conscious, tax-efficient, and cost-effective approach.

As an Investing with Impact Director, I help clients align their investments with their personal ethics and values. Investments are evaluated in the areas of Environmental Impact, Social Impact, and Ethical Governance practices and can be selected to reflect either broad sustainability goals or customized to highlight specific causes.

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently reside in Oakland. When I am not working, you are likely to find me outdoors! I spend most of my free time either at the barn with my horse or out hiking and camping with my dogs. Horses have always been an important part of my life - I have competed at both National and International levels in the equestrian sport called Three-Day Eventing (three disciplines: dressage, cross country, and show jumping).

As a lifelong nature and wildlife lover, I am a member of the East Bay Regional Parks Foundation, National Parks Conservation Association, and the Sierra Club. I am also a supporter of the Lindsay Wildlife Organization and the Wildlife Conservation Network.

1The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
