My Story and Services

About Nick

“Nick, I’m trying to work. Where do you think our money comes from?”

My dad asked me this 20+ years ago when I was trying to show him something I learned that day in school.

My enthusiastic answer? “The ATM!”

While that moment earned a laugh, it also sparked a lifelong fascination with how money truly works—and how it can work for you. Today, my passion as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional lies in helping individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations navigate the complexities of personal finance. My goal is simple: to understand who you are, what matters most, and how we can align your financial strategies to enable you to live your best life!

Using an established process, I create tailored strategies designed to empower you to achieve your goals. But the work doesn’t stop there—I’m committed to working with you throughout life’s changes, keeping you on track and focused on your vision.

A Little About Me

Outside of serving clients, you can often find me training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, playing golf, or lifting weights. Born and raised in Durham, California, I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the close-knit community I’m fortunate to call home. I also feel incredibly lucky to have a supportive family by my side.

At the heart of what I do is the belief that personal finance is exactly that—personal. It’s never too early or too late to start planning for the future, and I’m here to address your unique needs, goals, and concerns. Whether you’re an individual, family, business, or nonprofit organization, I’m excited to learn what’s most important to you and help you create a plan to live your best life!

See below for more ways to diversify your portfolio with the use of Alts

Alternatives are the investments that go beyond traditional stocks and bonds. They can open doors to unique opportunities to help grow and preserve your wealth, and have long sought to offer enhanced returns, portfolio diversification, lower volatility, as well as potential tax efficiency.

Alternative investments are often speculative and include a high degree of risk. Investors can lose all or a substantial amount of their investment. They may be highly illiquid, can engage in leverage, short-selling and other speculative practices that may increase volatility and the risk of loss, and may be subject to large investment minimums and initial lock-ups. They may involve complex tax structures, tax inefficient investing and delays in distributing important tax information. They may have higher fees and expenses that traditional investments, and such fees and expenses can lower the returns achieved by investors.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Actual results may vary. Diversification does not assure a profit or protect against loss in a declining market.
