About Me

Based in New York, Leo Biagini is a financial advisor focused in portfolio management. He has more than 18 years of experience in the financial industry, most recently as Managing Director in Private Wealth Management at Credit Suisse and JPMorgan, covering UHNW clients in Latin America, with a particular focus in the Mexican market. After his MBA he spent 4 years at Citigroup Private Bank as an investment counselor. Originally from Argentina, Leo started his career at The Exxel Group, a Private Equity group. He holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. 

Leo makes his home in Greenwich, CT with his wife Cecilia, and their three children.

About Me

A global investment advisor with over 15 years of experience, Fernando Massaro provides investment advice to some of the most prominent families in Mexico. Assisting his clients in managing portfolios on  both a  discretionary and non-discretionary basis, Fernando concentrates on hedging strategies, tactical investments, risk management, diversification strategies, macroeconomic analysis and active trading. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Fernando served in a similar capacity at Credit Suisse. He began his career at JP Morgan, where he worked for more than 10 years advising ultra high net worth Mexican families. Fernando holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors and an MBA in finance from New York University.

During his free time, Fernando likes to spend time with his family and fly small planes. He holds a private pilot license.

Angel Peña is an Investment Analyst supporting the team’s clients across a broad range of responsibilities, including managing client portfolios, implementing trading strategies and researching potential investment opportunities for ultra-high net worth individuals in Latin America. Angel also analyzes Latin American, High Yield and Contingent Capital Fixed Income bonds based on yield spread, default risk and liquidity for investment ideas and new client proposals.

Angel graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Accounting. His outside interests include soccer and traveling.

Guillermo Ramirez is an Investment Analyst who assists the team’s clients by exploring investment opportunities and managing and monitoring their portfolios. Guillermo is also responsible of analyzing and informing the team on expected monthly investment perspectives and providing investment ideas for these changes in global trends.

Guillermo graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a Business Minor. He enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, and playing soccer.

Nicolas Jubera is an Investment Analyst supporting the team’s clients by developing and implementing fundamental and tactical investment strategies, managing and monitoring portfolios, and providing risk analysis. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley full-time, Nicolas worked at Merrill Lynch, where he supported the Management Team at the New York International Office.

Nicolas graduated summa cum laude from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and International Business. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and playing tennis.

Jean Blanco is a Portfolio Associate at the New York Alta Group, a leading Private Wealth Management team Morgan Stanley.

Jean has 17 years of experience in the wealth management industry, of which the last 7 years have been with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Over the span of his career he has worked closely with some of the most sophisticated clients in Latin America, covering ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, funds and corporations. 

Jean has become a seasoned expert in client service, administration and operations, being a key resource to the team and the group’s clients.

He will obtain his Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs at Baruch College City University of New York (CUNY) in the fall of 2018. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses and speaks English and Spanish.

Erika joined Morgan Stanley in March of 2011 as a Client Service Associate. Erika currently holds her Series 3, 7, 63, 66 and state insurance licenses. She is a graduate of Baruch College.

Erika was born in Yuscarán, Honduras a historic town known for its beautiful mountains. She has been living in New York for over 20 years which she considers her hometown.

Iris Gomez is a Group Director at the New York Alta Group, a leading international Private Wealth Management team at Morgan Stanley.

Iris brings more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 1993 at Prime Charter Ltd. a boutique investment firm focusing on investment banking and sales and trading. After being acquired by Oppenheimer & Co. in 2002, Iris spent 12 years covering international markets working with private clients and institutions.

She joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in May of 2016 as a Relationship Manager where she focused on the Ultra High Net worth market. After completing the firm’s Leadership Readiness program at Morgan Stanley, Iris became the Business Service Manager at the 399 Park Avenue Complex, the firm’s flagship Complex. As the Business Service Manager, Iris worked closely with Complex Management to supervise, manage and support all service functions, partnering with leading teams and advisors in both domestic and international markets.

After her outstanding contribution to the leading Complex at Morgan Stanley she joined the New York Alta Group as the Group Director, where she leads the strategy and client service model for the team’s clients. Iris coordinates all team resources tailored to servicing the complex needs of managing significant wealthy clients.

Iris earned her Degree in Business Management from Borough of Manhattan Community College. She speaks English and Spanish, additionally she has he following FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63, 24, 9, 10, 66, and 3. She lives with her husband and 3 children in NJ.
